Oh Lord, My Computer is Going NUTS!!!!

I used to have problems like that until I got my Mac...:rolleyes1: :duck:

One of the best things we ever got (after our Mac, of course ::yes:: ) for our home computing is our combination external(back-up) hard-drive/cable modem. It's by Apple and is called "Time Machine". The thing runs automatically several times a day and is worth every penny.

I think it might be my answer to one of the "What-If" question of "What one item would you save from a house fire?"

agnes!

I bought an internal hard drive enclosure and an internal hard drive to use for my Time Machine back ups, I then plan on buying another hard drive to use for my photo back up storage as well.

BURN YOUR PHOTOS TO CD's OR DVD's- computers crash-hard drives crash-passwords get lost-Better yet print them out-there are somethings about the digital age that annoy the heck out of me-one of them is photos only getting stored in digits-think about the number of times you have looked back at photo albums from the past -way in the past-those prints survived a longggg time-then think about how often you "loose" your computer-or data-because its not backed up or a password gets lots or a hard drive stolen. And data formats change-how much of what you stored 10 years ago can you still retrieve?

You mean the pc that doesn't run with the majority of the software developed? Every time I'm in Staples or Office depot, the #1 question I hear as I'm walking by the software section is, "Does this work on a Mac?"

The #1 answer is usually, "No... not yet. Hopefully a version is coming." :sad2:
