Well, after much discussion and thought and price checking and mind changing........we finally decided on where to go for my daughter's high school graduation present/trip. A while back, I did post and ask for advice (thanks!) because I didn't want a trip to cost a fortune (I am giving her Lasik for her birthday present and that will cost $4500, so I didn't want to spend $10,000 to go to Europe!) and me use up all my vacation time in one trip. I NEED several mini-vacations to see me thru a year.
Anyway.........we are going to go to Hawaii. DD is a military dependent so we have reservations at Hale Koa (only $129 per night!!!). One of her best friends is now living at Hickam so she has someone to do teenager things with (while I read and sunbath) and she will also get to attend that young lady's graduation also. My boss always gives me the use of his frequent flyer miles......so we are booked (diva style in first class) on Hawaiian Airlines. End of May..............Hawaii..........here we come!
