Cynthia- I'm glad your day improved quickly after some initial crankiness. I get that- when you have your mind set on one dining experience and are disappointed when that doesn't happen. I'm glad it ended up working out for you!

What a spectacular day! A fantastic food find, meet with a cutie, MK fun, pool time, snacks on the Verandah with a view, drinks at The Ditch, dinner at GF and an abbreviated monorail resort tour. Fun times!

Wow! Spectacular pictures at Bombay Hook. I have never heard of it, but it looks like such a great place. I love the picture of the branches over the water the best, but they are all great. Cambridge also looks nice. You seem to live in a very nice area with lots to do.

Over at EP, what a cool picture of the monorail, US flag and Spaceship Earth. All beautiful symbols.

That certainly does look like the contrail from a launch. We saw a shuttle launch once- we were at Canada and told to look east toward Mexico, so the direction is definitely correct.

Great choice for your screensaver picture.

Yeah, I have 30 points already which is 6 more than my total posts (at the time of the infraction) - not a good ratio, and I'm being a good boy.

I think I found the points / cost the other night. Confusion sets in when I search for the exact room at Disney Go and and it's not being offered. Anyway, I see people post their "Disney Deals" all over these boards, so exactly what is considered a rule violation besides profanity and other such abuses?

You can't list specific sites or names of travel agents and stuff like that. If you want specifics you need to pm. Also - you can't call people names. It's not just profanity. Somewhere on the boards is a post on what you can and can't do.

I failed to mention that it was only marginally higher in cost than Art of Animation Suite, but, I have to tell you, my kids loved that place, especially the younger two. Pool parties, movies and magic bands with unlimited lemonade just 60 feet away, it will be hard to top! Plus, it had a pretty decent food court (better than Saratoga Springs in my opinion), huge arcade and gift shop.

What kid wouldn't like that place????? It's amazing! I remember touring it the first month it opened and even Denny was totally impressed. I looked for a Little Mermaid room there in Feb but couldn't find one. It is one of the few resorts I have not stayed in and I would like too. When my boys were young they really enjoyed Pop Century. We never stayed there as a family, but they went with me on several mom/son trips and we always had a blast there. I know a lot of people find resorts and stick with them. I like to try them all. I still need to stay at the Poly (which now has DVC), the Yacht club, AoA, and All Stars Music.

Same here. We bring portable chargers, but this is a good back-up option.

I need a portable charger. I kept needed to borrow Cynthia's during the trip because part of my charger was not working right and my phone wouldn't charge correctly. So annoying!

I am 99% sure we ate our leftover via Napoli pizza for lunch. If we didn't do it that day, perhaps another but what I do recall is I ate it cold and it was SOOOOO good!

We went back to OKW. Don’t even ask me what we did. It may have been the pool. It may have been a nap. I don’t know. I really can’t remember and I have no pictures until we are getting ready to leave to go back to Epcot.

I love it there! Almost makes Delaware look appealing, doesn't it?

As Mary Ellen mentioned, they were just ok but they sure were cute. I believe the Darth puff pastry was the best of the bunch.

They were definitely a lot cuter than they tasted............but still pretty cool.

I enjoyed the parfait, even if the granola was a bit soggy

I will tell Kyle if he is awake when I get home , I have started a little bit on the Disney Trip , having trouble with windows 8 and my new laptop with uploading etc . But I think I may switch around my schedule a bit and take some time off , which is really easy for me as I have discovered I can approve my own time OFF with this new computer PayLocity . My AD is clueless so will think he has gotten efficient . My staff said the bosses will catch on but "Go for it while you can "

Absolutely! If you can sneak in some extra time off I say GO FOR IT! Especially if you can use it to write a trip report!!!!!

No new job for just a whole more of the old one. But I get - I really do.

Thanks! It's a lovely place. We are lucky to live so close to it - and the best part - it was free national park day and this is considered a national wildlife refuge, so we got in free!

Bombay Hook was lovely. We went on the free national park dark and there was hardly anyone there. It's a shame more people don't take advantage of places like that.

Thanks! It was a really nice afternoon there. I'm glad we decided to stop in. We often ride our bikes to the entrance, but the roads are not paved so we never go in.

I definitely want to do that Star Wars breakfast some day! DH is a huge Star Wars fan and loves the evil characters. Boba Fett is his favorite and I think he would pass out if given the opportunity to meet him.

You should definitely do it one year. It's got to be nirvana for a real Star Wars geek! They really put a lot into the entire event and attending the breakfast was fun!

Everything looks good except for that dessert. It just looks nasty.

Lovely night in Epcot, MEK! My favorite thing to do in Disney is just walk around Epcot, look at how pretty it is, and then watch Illuminations!

Me too! That's why I love staying at the Boardwalk so much. It makes that SO easy!

The SWW character breakfast looks so cool, if I'm ever brave enough to do a SWW, I would definitely do that character meal! I just don't think I can deal with those crowds!!!

I don't think the crowds are awful. It's like summer crowds, but nothing too crazy. I don't think that should scare you away. Although, I think the weather is better during F&W.

"Fun" folks from another board were saying "not fun" stuff about you after you would post. I simply referred a post for them to read, but it was taken down - all for the best!

I have to say, there was a free meal deal the last week of August this year and the price was terrific for AOA if you booked before expiration. Some of these Disney Deals are pretty darn good. It has since expired, but I am watching. Also, I got your link - I need some quality alone time to delve into and understand all the ramifications - whoa, that's a lot of stuff!

Thanks! I enjoy the eastern shore of Maryland and the Delaware bay. It's a lovely area and there are so many places to visit. I love it!
