So I've been waiting all day thinking "oh, what if I won the competition" and they don't even have the answers! I know, they need some time to decide, but come on people, you are killing us here!

It's easy for me, I know I don't have a prayer! I couldn't even fathom thinking that I would have a prayer. Such talented people out there!

Seriously, there were over 4,000 entrants. They didn't even finish judging until last night. If they rushed it and very good rooms were not mentioned, we'd be up in arms that they rushed it. They take their time and we're complaining about that.

Relax, have some cocoa, and cheer on whoever wins.

They seriously need to expand the number of winners. If it is just the top 40 or so, it will most likely be the same people we always see winning best guest room. Nothing wrong with them winning, but let's acknowledge some of the lesser known designers too.

I'm not in a hurry to hear the results. I don't expect to win, but I wish I could get one of the Top Ten pins no matter what place I came in.

First of all it was NOT 4000 entries it was more like 2000 (this comes straight from Hula)

Second... GIVE THEM A BREAK! Geez... the contest ended Yesterday!! And they have a lot of great rides to choose from... I can just imagine what is going on right now... Some of the judges may be fighting for the rides they liked the best to get First place, while others are fighting for their favorites to win... I am sure a lot of talking is going on as we type!

Third... As of right now we all have the dream of a chance to win... once they annouce the winners most of our dreams will be crushed LOL

The previous ride contests with fewer entrants than this last one were announced at the end of the week following the event

With this number of entrants I would expect something by early next week if you get something sooner- great- but really expecting next day announcement goes against their previous habits with judging and announcing.

I too wish they'd have more than 40 or so prize winners- I don't expect to be a winner and never did- entered mostly for the participation prize and the hope to get the neat flag lol... but with 2000 entrants I'd love to see them expand the number of winners-

Of course if they did that by adding new catagories there will be some sour grapes about not knowing in advance-

Right now- there will be 40 winners and 1960 losers in this competition- so odds are we didn't win lol

But I do expect to see a few DIS names on the top 40 list- since some of the rides I saw were awesome

I agree. Two reasons why I didn't do the competion:
1. Would take up too much credits
2. Having to wait like this

They'd better, I can't seem to do team competitions!

But next time they need about 50 or so more staff, and allowing us to do more than 3 rooms!
