Hi! I take forever when trying to plan things, but I feel I am at least narrowing down which resorts I will stay at. So now for my questions.

1: Can anyone tell me about the views from the Presidential and Vice-Presidential suites at the Wilderness Lodge? Also both are two bedrooms right? Can you tell me if one of the bedrooms has two beds in it?
Do any of the deluxe rooms connect?
Can I reserve these rooms with the dream maker package?

2:If I stay at the Beach Club Villas can I still get a silver or gold add on?

3: At this point I am thinking that I would like to stay 4 nights at AKL, 5 nights at Wilderness and 5 at Beach Club (villa or resort).
Now all of this will be very flexible, and I can add a couple of days too.
Is this enough time to spend at each resort so that we can enjoy down time there? I am thinking that maybe I should add a few days at the Contemporary Resort or the Poly. This way I'd be close to Magic Kingdom.

4: Now mind you I am planning for the summer of 2006 so I'll have plenty of time to pay it off well in advance LOL! I am big on having a nice view, in fact it is one of the most important things for me.
Since it is so far in advance, should I just book the rooms ahead of time and then switch over to a package? Can DU book that far in advance (I know that codes wouldn't be out yet)?
Are codes ever avalible for the Pres./ Vice Pres. rooms and deluxe at the Wilderness Lodge?

Sorry for all my questions and if these have been answered a million times before, be gentle with me LOL!

Well, you beat me...a year in advance is about all I can plan! :) I try not to think about it until codes are released then the flood gates are wide open! :)

You've got some loaded questions...many specific that the majority of us will not know the answers...so I'm going to refer you to two websites with lots of answers.....www.allearsnet.com and www.wdwinfo.com both and lots of phots of the different suites and descriptions. I am fairly sure you can get discounts in the suites...only because I was offered a suite at Contemporary that reflected a savings...still $800 a night but was less than rack rate.

I would focus on picking which resorts you prefer...pick top 3....sometimes things can happen that will affect your deciions...I really wanted to stay at Beach Club but they just announced last week that for the month I'm going the major slide will be closed....that just would not settle well with my kiddoes. So pick 3 options so you can have some fall back plans. Also, it doesn't really hurt to call the front desk once you have decided which resorts and speak to them about the specific suites. You've narrowed your choices down and now you can create little files on each of them...you'll have time to fantasize...no chance you could fly down there for a weekend between now and then to check all these out? Let me know, I'd take the trip with you! I'll never be able to stay at a suite like that but I sure would like to see them! :)

Enjoy planning!!!

I'll try and answer a few of your questions The Views from the Presidentail Suite (Yellowstone) and Vice Presidentail Suite (Yosemite) overlook the Inner Courtyard with views of waterfall, Silver Creek, Silver Creek Pool and Bay Lake. The Suites have a living room, butlers kitchen, dinning area, half bath, Master bedroom (with king size bed) and Master Bath. While both suits have the option to connet a second room with two queen size beds I believe there is an additional room charge.

The Jr Suites Deluxe rooms don't connect to other rooms.

(Not sure about the Dream Maker Package most packages have selected dates and your dates are still too far out)

The time at each resort sounds great but you will already be close the the Magic Kingdom during your stay at Wilderness Lodge.

The only one I know about would be are codes available for the suites? Yes, but you can't use the Room-only codes if you book a package.

Hope this helps,
Beckie

You will pay sooo much more for a package. If you plan to spend at least 8 days in the park, it's worth it to get annual passes for your group. That's the break even point between park hoppers and annual passes. Sometimes you can get good room only discounts with an AP. I definitely recommend DU -- they are really helpful answering all your questions and work hard at getting the best rates.
