You know, that mattress doesn't look that bad! I can sleep on anything though; I went through an interior design phase when I was younger and had to sleep on the floor for most of a summer. I can sleep pretty much anywhere now I wonder who made that decision - would it have been difficult to make the bed sides 2" higher? It's a cute room otherwise!

I am so not a fancy eater - that sandwich and fries (mostly the fries, I must admit) look delicious to me. And the cupcake. I hate being in line when there's only one of something left. It's so nervewracking!

I was reading the thread on the theme parks board about how the Muppets was out of style and I was like, according to whom?. I thought EVERYONE loved the Muppets. There's approximately a million of them, so there should be at least one for everyone! And then it hit me - Are there really people who don't watch The Muppet Christmas Carol?? That's a key part of our Christmas preparations! Sometimes I just don't understand people.

I was literally biting my nails waiting for that cupcake. I wanted it so badly, I was mentally sending that guy thoughts so that he wouldn't buy it. lol

I don't think the Muppets are out of style at all. I just don't get people. Why wouldn't you love something that's so harmless and fun. My personal favorite is Muppet Treasure Island. I mean come on. To me it doesn't get any better than that. "Billy Bones!"

So I was on my way back to Caribbean Beach hoping to get some rest on the notorious half a mattress. Yes ladies and gentlemen, it has gained notoriety. I decided to hop off the bus at Old Port Royale. First because I wanted to get my mug and fill it, and second because I wanted to see how long the walk was back from there to Trinidad South.

That was the last time I took the walk.

Honestly, it wasn't that far, but taking the car was just so much easier. Plus, I felt like a complete idiot when I left Old Port Royale and couldn't figure out which way was the best way back. So I asked the CM who does the hair wraps, and even SHE looked at me like I was an idiot.

Listen, it's not like the pathway was lit up with lights announcing "THIS WAY BACK TO TRINIDAD SOUTH". I had a hard enough time getting out of the Pirate Pool Area.

Which I failed to get pictures of really. Epic fail, sorry.

I did get these pretty pictures though.

I finally got back to my room. Cut open that beautiful cupcake...

That was heavenly. I was only able to eat half though. It was just too much!

I then hunkered down for a nap. I napped for about two hours. My verdict on the half a mattress.

It was bizarre. I was expecting to hate it, but I didn't. I could clearly tell that it wasn't a full mattress, but it wasn't so bad. It was firm, but I'm not against firm. I actually liked it better than the beds at POP. Not better than the other beds though (like DVC, etc). See, my problem with the beds at POP is that they are inconsistent (to me). There are parts that are firm and parts that are soft, and it makes for a weird sleep for me. This was a little easier. I made up my mind at that point. I wouldn't be requesting a room change. I could deal with the distance to the food court with the car.

I got up around 6pm and unpacked my items. I had held off, because I didn't know how I would feel about the bed. Since I made my decision, I felt that I could unpack successfully.

I was ready to head out at about 6:30pm. The temperature had cooled off a bit, so I was wearing a hoodie. Boo. I took the bus to the Magic Kingdom instead of the car. I don't like to drive to the Magic Kingdom. It just feels like so much of a hassle with parking and then getting on the monorail.

The ride was nice and uneventful. I didn't feel too strange being alone, although some people kind of look at you like you're a leper. But I feel that people who are going to do that will do it regardless of the situation.

I texted Megan when I arrived, and she said she was a few minutes out. She had a delay because they had to load a wheelchair. No biggie.

I decided to get my picture taken with the Photopass photographer at the front of the park while I waited. I don't have those yet. I'll probably add those at the end. I'll explain why later if I can succeed with my plan.

This whole thing was hilarious. I was waiting behind a family and then there was a family behind me. So the family in front of me goes and then the family behind me start proclaiming, "oh we're next, honey we're next". Ummmm.....

So the other family leaves and I very quietly start walking up to the PP and give her my card. To which the mother of the family behind me says in the most disgusted voice "oh, I guess we're NOT next".

Lady, you knew darn well I was standing in front of you. Just because I'm by myself, doesn't mean that I'm just standing there for no reason. Also, I'm 5'10", white as a ghost, with almost black hair. You can't miss me. Don't even play that.

So the PP was too funny, and she's like, "just you?" I explained yes, just me. She had a mini photo shoot with me taking her time. I could say Digusto-mom over to the right of me getting more irritated. Whatever lady. I'm in Disney just like you are.

Anywho, that was a huge sidenote. I also found out what I love most.

My iPhone 4S. Seriously, want to marry this phone. Why? Because it can do so many things, like take pictures like this.

You will continue to see the pure awesomeness of this phone throughout the night and the rest of the trip. Plus, with Siri giving you the answers you want, why would you want to get married, when you could get a response back from your husband that you DON'T want?!

Megan finally arrived. Yay! We headed in and we had perfect timing for the castle lighting. These were taken with what I will now refer to as the White Goddess, or WG.

After the lighting, we were HONGRY! No, not hungry, HONGRY. It's a little more serious when it's said like that....

It was pretty busy there, but the line went really fast. I tried to be naughty and completely skip the line that was set up, because I wasn't paying attention, but Megan reeled me in.

We both ordered the new Salmon Platter, which was super yummy.

It is such a nice alternative to the normal fare that you get. It didn't overfill me and I was able to actually eat my dessert and not feel like I was going to explode. My dessert (which for some reason I don't have a picture of), is the chocolate death bomb, I mean cake.

After that, we were right by the Haunted Mansion, so we headed over. Still my favorite. I love the new effects at the end of the ride.

After that, we noticed that there were some pretty hefty wait times for some of the rides. Due to the chilliness, we decided we would not be riding Splash. We decided on the Jungle Cruise. There was no wait time posted.

Take note, that girl was the LAMEST JC skipper EVER! She was so deadpan in her delivery. Maybe that was her thing, but it just wasn't working. So my last two experiences on JC consisted of the screamer in July (ugh, I cringe just thinking about that chick), to Dully McDullerson. Not encouraging.

After this it was off to Pirates. I joked that I needed to buy some Pirate toys, just so I could pose on my bed back at the room.

No, I didn't buy any.....

WG was able to produce these beauties.

See what I mean? I'm in love ya'll.

After that we decided to head over to BTMRR. You see, our logic was that MSEP was going on, so there wouldn't be a long line. We were correct in our assumption.

This is a little grainier, because that's taken with the lens on the front of the phone. Not as good as the one on the back.

We were cold!

We had good timing for the fireworks in Fantasyland. I took some pictures with WG. I'll only post a few. However, I will say, Megan and I noticed something was wrong. The fireworks were off. Like, it didn't do the finale or anything. It was bizarre.

Oh, in case you've never watched the fireworks in Fantasyland, you have to do this ridiculous jumping around, because the fireworks are taking off in all sorts of directions. "The Castle!.....Behind you!....No over there!" You seriously feel like a huge dee dee dee, because it's like you're leaping in circles. Not preferred, but okay for me who's seen the show many times.

The only other problem that you have is that since you seem "closer" to the fireworks, you see the smoke (as evident in my pictures).

So, we were letdown because the fireworks were off. So what do you do?

Ride Dumbo of course!

Then it was off to my personal favorite.

Who doesn't love it when Donald does ridiculous things? Like this...

After that, it was off to what we decided would be our final ride of the night.

Where else would I get a fabulous picture of my feet? Of course, the Peoplemover!

One our way out, we stumbled upon the second showing of MSEP.

Megan wanted to stop at the Main Street Bakery on the way out to get a Cinnamon roll for her breakfast. And I was tempted. I gave in to the peer pressure. I couldn't resist........no matter how hard I tried....

What in tarnation!? It's a mutated ice cream sandwich! I mean, I knew it would be big, but this is like GINORMOUS! I feel like Alice who just drank the drink me stuff. Like I've shrunk or something....

I only ate half of it. Caution to all you DISers out there who want to get one. Make sure you have someone with you who could eat it. It felt like such a waste. We parted ways at the bus stop. Mine came right away and Megan said hers came shortly after mine.

The ride back was hilarious, because all of the kiddos on the bus were PASSED out. Like, no moving them. Poor kiddos.

I got back to the room around 12:30am and stayed up for a little while to write about the trip. I didn't get very far though since I was so tired.

It was sweet dreams for me on the half a mattress after that.

Up next: Man, I'm getting chased by a Dinosaur AGAIN?!

No worries about getting lost at the Caribbean. That is the most confusing resort I've stayed in, IMO. And I'm glad you liked the Pirates room! Firm beds are nice sometimes... as long as they're firm, not hard.

I totally got the same weird stares when I was alone on buses too. I know Disney is a family place but sometimes it's like people have never seen someone by themselves before.

PS: do you name all your chapter titles "the one with..." because of Friends?

Believe me, I was amazed at the pictures it was able to produce as well. I always had my Nikon with me to take pictures actually on rides, since the phone doesn't have a strap and there is NO WAY I am risking losing that bad boy.

Siri said almost the same thing to me too! She was like "I don't know you that well". I asked her what the meaning of life was, and she said "to ask questions like you just asked".

I am glad the mattress was fine too. However, the caveat is that I could see how many people may not like it.

I had it down in the end, but man. I haven't stayed there in forever, and I was totally confused.

I'm holding out for the Iphone 5, have you seen previews for that thing? It's so thin, and it projects a keyboard on to whatever surface you want to type on...like a full size keyboard, but it's a projection! I hope they hurry up with it!

Don't worry too much about the beds at POP. They're not bad. Not preferred for me, but most hotel beds are not preferred for me either, so I am biased in my opinion. I just really like my own bed.

Starring Rolls is only open until 4pm. I got that cupcake around 3:30pm. Amazing, right?

Doesn't it seem like all TR's have a part about someone saying something stupid? I just don't seem to understand people anymore. They act like they are so entitled now, and that the whole world revolves around them. And you know what I think is sad? People are teaching their kids that too. So it's only going to continue being that way. I have a pretty crazy story later in the TR that just shows how absolutely impatient people are now. I couldn't believe it myself. Like their time is more valuable than everyone else's....

I've heard mixed stories about the 5. I've heard yours, that it's going to be crazy insane, and then I've heard that it's not going to be much different than the 4s. I guess we just have to wait and see.

We did have a great time. I was so happy with the quality of the pictures. I used it for the rest of the trip. Made things so much easier. Did you get a different phone instead, or are you just waiting?

I felt like I'd been waiting forever for an upgrade, so this felt like it was so overdue. Honestly, it was the POC picture that made me go WHAT?! But it's a PHONE!?

The salmon is from CHH. It was so yummy and a great option if you get tired of eating what feels like the same thing over and over again.

I did enjoy my time at Caribbean Beach. I like to change it up with resorts.

I never ride Dumbo either! It felt like such a nice change.
