I am coming to Orlando for work. If I go to Disney i'll be buying convention tickets. How do they work without magic bands? I've always stayed on property so I didn't think I'd ever not be using a magic band.

Link the tickets to you in MDE and use a MB that is also linked to you.

If you pick up hard plastic tickets, you can use them, directly, at the gates and for FP+.
And/Or, as hiroMYhero said, you can use any of your previous trips' MagicBands, if you link your convention tickets
to your MDE account.
