Offsite rentals - pricing by week?

When a house/villa/condo has a weekly rate listed, is that 6 nites/7 days or 7 nites?

My experience is that it is for 7 nights. When I see a listed price, I don't always trust it though so when I inquire, I am specific about my dates and ask them to include all taxes, fees, pool and spa heat (if necessary) in their quote.

I'm telling you, all these houses are starting to look the same - I think I may just close my eyes and point at the screen, whichever house it lands on we're taking!!

Like Dougsmom said, sometimes the prices have changed. If you see a few you like, email the owners and get a firm quote and make sure how many nights it is. I hear you on them all looking the same. I've got it down to two condos now but there were hundreds to choose from and most only slightly different one to the next. Now, I can't choose between the two because they're so similar! LOL

I agree that it is usually a 7 night price when it is stated as weekly, but a lot will not include taxes, pool heat, resort fees etc. Just email the owners with exact dates for an all in price. We like to quote in nightly prices as it seems to make it easier as not everyone is looking for a full week/7 nights

It has always been 7 nights when I rented. I know what you mean about the fact that they all start to look the same. I make the pool the deciding factor. If it's not really pvt. I delete it. I found one this year with a pvt. pool , location was right as well as the price. After that I stopped looking at anymore villas. That's it!
