Offsite Hotels

Am doing a little research ahead of time and trying to weigh up if we should stay onsite again next time or offsite. Last time I stayed at POP and loved it but this time am thinking it would be nice to have a kitchen (microwave and fridge at least) and a little more room (somewhere for baby to sleep in darkness while we are still awake). There will be 2 adults and a baby. Are there any hotels in very close walking distance (don't want to get lost lol) to Downtown Disney that are around the same price, or better, than a disney value that would have this? If so which ones would you recommend?

Have thought about the DoubleTree Suites in DTD. I think that it will fit your needs. I know sometimes mousesavers has code for the hotel.
