Offsite Hotels with Early Check-In?

Is there a list somewhere of which (if any) offsite hotels allow early check-in? I've only ever stayed onsite, but with our increased family size (would be 3 adults, 3 children), we could stay at an offsite hotel for 2 or more nights or onsite for only 1 night. However, we like to start our first day at the crack of dawn and get into the parks super early. I'm hoping there's a hotel out there that will let us arrive around 6AM, get a parking spot and store our luggage, walk to the parks, then we can get our official hotel room when we come back for a break later in the day. Thanks!

I'm sure most will let you park and check-in early. Could you just leave your luggage in the car? We done this at the DI&S and it wasn't a problem.

Yeah, I don't have a problem leaving my stuff in the car. I just don't want to get there and find out they won't let me park since check in isn't until later.

Another nice thing about DI&S, on the last day you can check out and leave your car in the parking space.
They do charge for the day if you're still parked there after 2pm.
It made check out day so easy. Loaded the car up with the luggage and checked out at the front desk and off to the parks for a few hours.

We usually always stay at CCI and they always have allowed us to park in the lot and then use the shuttle/walk to the parks... same for on check out day. In Nov my mom and I took the train up from San Diego and we were just going to store our luggage(arrived at 9am) and they already had our room ready so we got to check right in and put our stuff in the room.

I would think most hotels would let you park and hold your bags then get your room later in the day.

I would just call your hotel ahead of your trip and set it all up before your arrival.

Good luck

I can't speak as to parking, since we usually fly, but I have never stayed at a hotel that would not store your bags for you. I personally would not leave my bags in the car, to risky to me. The properties we've stayed at that have held our bags are Tropicana, Camelot, Ramada Maingate and Hojo. I assumed all do, but if there is a property or properties you are interested in, just call and ask them their policy.

Thanks! This makes it a lot easier to pick a hotel. I will definitely call to verify, but this makes me feel so much better about planning my first offsite stay!

I've stayed at many offsite hotels and all of them let me park early so I can enjoy the parks while waiting to check in.

We got to Best Western Park Place in at 10:30 and checked in without key and they took our bags, not sure if they will let you park, but you could check in and then park at the park lot if you had to. Since checkout is not until 11am they may not have spots for you at most hotels. We did not have a car, so we did not have to deal with that. We also left the park in the afternoon on our last day and they kept our bags until we were ready to get the shuttle out.

We stayed at Fairfield Inn this past weekend and checked in around 745AM Saturday morning and they actually had our rooms. When I called last week to ask about early parking I was told I could park after 7AM. One of the other hotels (maybe Ramada Main Gate) told me I could park whenever I arrived so long as there was space and they couldn't guarantee space until check-in time. I would def call wherever you are thinking of staying.
