Offsite dining close to WDW?

Not sure what board to ask this question on? We were originally supposed to meet our close friends for lunch at Raglan Road in DTD. However, since our friends have kiddos they would like to meet offsite on International Drive. They won't be going into the Parks, so they don't want to eat onsite- it is torture for the kids (which I completely understand). They tried eating at DTD recently to meet family, and it didn't work out very well.

They get to visit WDW often since they now live in Florida, but can't this time. Does anyone have any offsite recommendations near WDW? My friends recall seeing an Outback close by, but they don't serve an early lunch. The day we meet up with them we will be staying at POR, so I would like to meet them on International Drive closest to our resort, if possible.

Any suggestions? I feel lost since I don't know the area at all. Thank you in advance.

There is an Olive Garden nearby, from Downtown Disney drive towards 535, at the light instead of entering Goodings Plaza, make a left. It will be on the right side of the road a couple blocks down. You can also do Chevy's or TGI Fridays at the Goodings Plaza, both are very nice and have good service. There is also Pizzeria Uno and I think a Red Lobster over there too!

Bahama Breeze is also very close to there. We went with our sons (5 and 2), and they really enjoyed it.

WOW- thank you for the quick replies!:goodvibes These are great suggestions. :thumbsup2
