I know that the Armed Forces Vacation Club (www.afvclub.com) gets a lot of talk on this board - I've used it several times for our family over the years. This fall, we are using www.govarm.com, which is essentially the same thing, but through Interval International (AFVC is through RCI) I was checking rates for our travel week in October - Columbus Day week - and discovered several properties listed for $199/week, plus tax. Sheraton Vistana and Liki Tiki were two that jumped out at me. I didn't check any other dates, other than the week of October 5.
but, thought I'd pass it along - it might help a fellow bargain hunter!
PS. this deal is only good for military, Department of Defense employees, and others elible to book through this program.
