Offsite buffet for lunch/dinner

Hi, is there is a good, moderately priced buffet near Windsor Hills. My son loves to eat at buffets and since he is 10 years old and considered an adult by Disney we are hoping to find a decent buffet offsite. If there is fried chicken on the buffet that would be an extra bonus. TIA!

There are 2 Golden Corrals in the area and there is fried chicken on the lunch/dinner menu. Closest one is on 192. I dont know the backroad to go from Windsor Hillls. But if you come out to 192 and turn left, I believe it is at the 2nd or 3rd light down on your left. Take your receipt to the gift shop next door and get a free key chain.

Thanks for info. We don't have Golden Corral where we live so that sounds like a good option.

Golden Corral there are 2 near Windsor Hills

( A ) Go to Hwy 192 ..... Turn Left & within a Mile there is one on your Left

( B ) Go to Hwy 192 ......... Turn Right ... go on .... Till you near Celebration Hospital ... On your right

Slow Down & On your Left is Golden Corral.


There are Chinees Buffet places across the Road from ( A ) above

There are more good eating places ( Non Buffet ) on Hwy 192 beyond Golden Corral ( A )

Cracker Barrel , Longhorns , Texas Roadhouse , Millers Ale House etc. & Ice cream Kiosk

If he is into soup and salad, try Sweet Tomatoes. You can stop in and have him look to see if there is enough that he would like. We see kids enjoying their buffet often. They have two flatbreads, 3 pasta dishes and an ice cream machine with toppings for dessert. Sign up for emailed coupons.

For Golden Corral, if you go for late breakfast and stay into lunch there are even more options to try. The food is not great, but kids should like it. The chocolate fountain and cotton candy make it special for kids.

Cicis pizza is always a must for us! I think its around $7 for the pizza buffet, and super yummy. Steak and shake has an all you can eat pancake deal. I love Golden Coral!

If you change your mind about the off-site thing, and can stomach paying $30 for him to eat, the fried chicken on the buffet at Trails End (at Fort Wilderness) is amazingly good! The whole buffet is, in fact, and it's the cheapest buffet in Disney. We like to go there on our Magic Kingdom day, the boat ride over is nice.
