offsite and vip tour...

Here I go again! I'e been immersed in DIsney and I still haven't booked!!!
Podcasts, websites, the boards: my husband and son are sooo over it!
I finally concluded that the only way to avoid waiting in lines is to get my 299 dollar day of thrills vip tour.
It is absurd to pay 900 dollars for a theme park for one day, but if I have to pay 1500 and stay three days in line???
Well, maybe I should think about some other solution.
I LOVE DISNEY and I want my family to enjoy as much as I do. It's been my childhood and really the happiest vacation ever
SO i was thinking

A) Where can I stay off-site cheap?
B) Does anyone have any first hand knowledge about the abovementioned tour??

B) I have never taken the tour and I never would. It just isn't necessary. We were there last summer for 10 days and never waited more than 30 minutes for anything. In fact, we very rarely waited more than 20 minutes. All you need is a good plan and a good attitude.
