Hey there,
Just posting on here to report my now official trip to Walt Disney World. Theres going to be three of us going down, all three of us are males (24 [Me], 23, 23). Yeaaa, Three mid-20 year old guys running around Disney World haha :dance3:. As mentioned this will be my first trip to WDW as well as one of the other guys. But this will be Dave's fourth trip down, so he's going to be stuck on partial tour guide duty.

I just wanted to get any idea/tips on the trip, find out whos going down at the same time and where you are staying and possibly get together with some other folks while we're down there to share some of the experience (same age or not :) ).

We are traveling down on May 14th. We are driving from Vancouver, BC to Bellingham, WA for a very early AM flight. Stopping in Seattle for a few hours and then heading straight down to Orlando. We will be leaving WDW on the 27th of May at approx 6pm or something like this back to Seattle. We had booked a room at the All-Star Sport Resort, but after hearing some raving reviews about Pop Century we switched resorts to PC.

We kind of have a lightly planned schedule for a few days of which parks we want to visit. We also have a few restaurant reservations booked, one for Chef Mickey's Dinner, one for Teppan Edo for dinner, one for Sci-Fi Dine in for Dinner and one for lunch at Boma's. We also plan to visit ESPN, House of Blues, etc. As well as make a trip to Atlantic Dance Hall to check that out one night.

We will be traveling to Universal Studios for two days on the 18th and 19th aswell as fitting in some water parks around there.

Does anyone have any tips on the parks, dining, etc? Also, we dont plan to party really or all the time, but we were thinking about having a few drinks at the hotel or poolside, does anyone know where there is a close/best place to buy spirits (rum, vodka, etc) or anything like that??

Like I said, let me know whos going to be around there at this time =) Cheers!

I'll be there 12-17th :)

As for the drinks, consider drinking around the world in Epcot.. trying drinks at each country in world showcase. France has an amazing Grand Marnier or Gray Goose slushie... to die for. Mexico has great margaritas, China has a drink called the Canto-loopy which is delicious. If you do a search, I'm sure you can find threads about the best drinks in Epcot / Disney World. If you're more into beer, you can try a beer from each country too. I've heard they're good as well, but I'm not a beer person!

Also, good choice on Pop over All Stars! Have a great trip.

If you will be at Epcot on May 14th, a few DISers are working on a meet there. :)

Oh really?? Unfortunately, I won't be arriving on the 14th until later in the evening.

And of course by May 2001, I actually mean May 2011 =P

Is there a Costco near WDW? Im from Canada, so we don't have alcohol in our Costcos, but I understand that isnt the case in the States. Is it worth it going to Costco for booze?
