** OFFICIAL Survivor: Cook Islands Thread ** ‘Survivor’s’ new racial divide

I did just the opposite. I bet I ended up missing 1/2 of the episodes this season. I'd either come get updates here or watch online, but I did remember to watch last night.

I was pulling for Ozzy to win, but I'm OK with a Yul win.

I do think it's kind of funny how Yul keeps going on and on about playing with integrity and the Itu four sticking together though.
If Ozzy had lost any of the immunity challenges toward the end Yul and Becky would have voted him off in a heartbeat. That was already in the works.
The only reason Ozzy made it to the finals was because he won the challenges, not because the Itu 4 stuck together.

Laughed so hard at the fire challenge. That was classic!
:lmao:

Right, plus Yul had the idol. I'm surprised that was never brought up. I wanted to hear how he would have played the game if he hadn't had it. I think they really should have forced the idol out. They really let him win at that point. I really wanted Ozzy to win, but since he made no effort to force that idol out, he sealed his fate.
What a great season!! :thumbsup2

Johnathan's speech/question to Yul was kind of funny, cinsidering he played a very sneaky, back-stabbing game himself.
Adam should have asked the rest of the players to spill dirt on each other, too. Asking only Ozzy was unfair.
.

Especially since he had already made up his mind to vote Yul to win. Very unfair.

Does anybody know the way the voting went?

I am curious to know who voted for who and WHY!

They asked Yul that question on the early show this morning and he said he and Ozzy had talked about it a little and they felt they had a pretty good idea, but that they did not know for sure and they had not asked anyone to confirm.

1. While CBS ran the finale, Spike TV had on an old episode of CSI...guest starring our friend Jonathan. He played a cop. If this has already been mentioned, I apologize.

2. Sundra is absolutely stunning. What a beautiful woman.

I loved Yul since the very first episode and am thrilled that he won.

I agree about Yul - liked him all along and Sundra, I don't know why I didn't notice it before but I mentioned several times to DH during jury that she was so pretty!

Ozzie played a great game and I was happy that he won the car. To me, the strategic aspects of the game are more fun to watch compared to the physcial aspects and so I was pulling for Yul.

BTW, the final three had two lawyers. Yul and Becky were both lawyers.

Yep, I was breathing HARD during the challenges because they would've voted him off IMMEDIATELY and you know what? I wouldn't BLAME them! He was the ULTIMATE warrior! What a guy!!

And I agree, Sundra was stunning last night. I understand that she's an actress, I'm sure she'll be getting lots of work now!

I missed the reunion eposide where they read the votes :furious: I know no one knows who voted for who, but can someone tell me what the final count was? Thanks :)

I felt bad that Becky was pretty much ignored during the jury questioning and I wondered why they even had it go to final three instead of final two :confused3

I'm glad Yul won but I think I would have been happier if Ozzy won

I was really pulling for Ozzy. I like Yul too and Im glad it was one of those 2.
Im glad Ozzy atleast won the car.

Same here. I liked both Ozzy and Yul, but was hoping Yul would win. Then when he did I kind of felt a little bad that Ozzy didn't win! So it was cool he won the car. :)

It's funny, because at first I could not stand Ozzy. He really grew on me throughout the season.

Just to use deductions, we know one, was it Johnathon that they actually showed his vote for Yul? So John is 1, we know Adam voted for Yul, and I'm guessing both of Yuls 2 former Asian tribemates voted for him over Ozzy (just a guess but I'm betting they had tribal loyalty there) so thats 4, I would guess that Parvati voted for Ozzy since she liked him somewhat, same for Candice, and Sundra, and I'm betting Nate also voted for Ozzy, so whoevers left was probably the other Yul vote, I'm forgetting her name at the moment.

I actually think maybe Sundra voted for Ozzy. She was nodding at things he was saying and I got the feeling she wasn't too fond of Yul and Becky's relationship and him offering Becky the idol.

REbecca, wonder who she voted for?

Although both Yul and Ozzy played good games each in their own way I would have rather seen Ozzy get it since he wanted to further his education and Yul already had the degree and a good job, I guess I just felt Ozzy needed the money more, I felt sorry for Becky just sitting there she had to know she had no way of winning.

Ozzy still gets $100,000 which should go a long way towards his education.

Again I fully agree with Robinrs.

Pavarti was not a keen player. She started out decent but her true approach came through and the tribe knew her tactics as it was getting old. It's one way to use your sexuality and another to spread it around like butter. I've never been a fan for that "big teeth" look and the 'huh?' expression it leaves on her face.

I am also glad to see the shallow Adam as bitter as ever. He is quite immature and predictable as well. But alas, he broke down Candice. (She must feel humiliated). Her speech about Adam being true, loyal and real was laughable. She needs to experience life a bit more. Adam was trashy and immature but Candice fell for him.

Yul and Ozzie were tremendous players and it was not fair to belittle Becky and Sundra. Of course, Becky and Sundra were not "power players" but they did keep the camp in order (socially). Sundra kept Pavarti on a short leash and knew all of her moves before Pavarti made them. Becky kept Yul concentrated and gave him scenerios that he could strategize. They were strong in there alliance and that is not common in Survivor. I give the final four great kudos for the way they played the game. Each gave something different and enhanced the tribe. It was very unfortunate that Becky and Sundra could not make fire, but I'd like to see Nate, Candice, Adam or Pavarti try it. They would all fail.

Didn't Adam and Nate look totally confused? I think everyone was talking way above them.

I liked Jonathan even though editting tried to portray him as a villian. He was a pivotal player and I would not have mind if he won the car. He mutinies his tribe, votes two others off and mutinies back to his original tribe. The man has a skill.

I would love to see Jonathan and Ozzie in an all-star Survivor game. I don't think Yul will be invited back to play on the game, but rather become a consultant for Mark Bernnet.

The last challenge (IMHO) had a lot of Yul's influence. Jeff made a special note to say that they had the beams fitted to their size feet (remember the other pole challenge)?

Anyway, this was a very good Survivor with a great outcome.

Looking forward to February.

Wow, lots of great points here! :thumbsup2

I also love Jonathan and hope they do another All Stars and invite he and Ozzie back. I actually had voted for Jonathan to win the car but last night I was VERY happy that Ozzie won it.

I think that Becky and Sundra get underrated sometimes; sure they weren't "power players", but if they hadn't been strong and determined, the Aitu 4 *never* would've made it through the merge, nevermind to the Final 4!! It took ALL 4 of them, together, to beat the Raro 8 :teeth:

Also, a lot of people have commented about the whole "Aitu 4 sticking together to the end" didn't really happen, saying that if Ozzie had not kept winning immunity that the other Aitu people would've voted him out. Well, we'll never know for sure if they would've gone through with it or not. They may not have. You know how the editors like to show us all of the "what if's". It even showed Ozzie considering leaving his alliance. I give credit to ALL 4 of them for sticking together to the end :)
