** OFFICIAL Survivor: Cook Islands Thread ** ‘Survivor’s’ new racial divide

It was a great season, and I'm very happy with the resolution. Yul was a great Survivor. I'm doubly impressed that he beat Ozzie for the win even without Becky's vote.

It was the CURSE OF THE CAR again! Ozzie got the car and Yul got the million :). Yul was my favorite from the very first episode. I am very happy he won and I didn't expect it. I thought the jury would be too mad at him for "playing" them.

BTW, poor Becky :(.

I know. I felt so bad for her!

But what would they have done in the event of a tie at that point? I'm very curious!

I actually did not feel sorry for her, she was up against "the Godfather" and "the Jungle Boy" and she knew it. I didn't expect her to get one vote.

As for the tie, I sure hope they didn't make them get fire!! Man, that was a nightmare!

Actually, quite the opposite. Of all the women on Survivor who have attracted men's attention with their bikini-clad bodies, I'd say Parvati is the least shallow. She played a pretty smart game to beat out 14 other players, and indeed, if she had hid her intelligence better, she'd have made it to the final five instead of Adam.

Definition of Shallow: lacking depth; superficial: a mind that is not narrow but shallow.

She was definitely shallow... the only reason she wasn't voted out earlier was because she was not that big of a threat. Being flirtatious doesn't take that much intelligence. She used her superficial wiles, and not too successfully I might add, due to the fact that she had less to offer in other ways.

Yul and Ozzy were both good looking men but neither used it to push themselves along. I admired that. They had more to bring to the table and they won because of it.

I'm sure the other 14 contestants she beat feel real good about your assessment of her.

I think it is pretty common for people to underrate and undercut attractive people. I think it is a mistake, though.

I forgot it was on last night! Man, am I mad at myself! I watched the whole season and missed the final show!

This was the first Survivor that I can remember where the final 4 was exactly who I wanted to be in the final four. And for the top 2 to be who I was for also. Very good season. Yul and Ozzy played a great game and really did not anger anyone like the top 2 players usually do (except Jonathan perhaps).

How much money will Ozzy get for 2nd place? Is it $100,000?

I loved last nights finale...two thoughts (observations)...

1. While CBS ran the finale, Spike TV had on an old episode of CSI...guest starring our friend Jonathan. He played a cop. If this has already been mentioned, I apologize.

2. Sundra is absolutely stunning. What a beautiful woman.

I loved Yul since the very first episode and am thrilled that he won.

Not surprised at all that Becky didn't get a single vote. Even though she was Yul's confidant, she appeared to the others to be riding coattails, much like Sundra.
The tie for 3rd was spot-on fair. It was TOOOOOOO funny seeing the ladies having so much trouble starting their fires after 38 days in the wilderness. C'mon, girls!
Johnathan's speech/question to Yul was kind of funny, cinsidering he played a very sneaky, back-stabbing game himself.
Adam should have asked the rest of the players to spill dirt on each other, too. Asking only Ozzy was unfair.
While I really wanted Ozzy to win, it was still cool to see an Aitu take it all. Their alliance really stuck together and tey worked really well together.
Oh, and I read somewhere that puzzle challenge took something like half an hour before Ozzy solved it correctly.

Great season! I was happy that Yul won and would have been happy if Ozzy had won as well. I was really hoping that last vote would have been for Becky (maybe Sundra would have voted for her based on Becky not taking the idol and playing her straight up). I would have loved to see what they had cooked up for a tie right there weeks after leaving the island.

I was really pulling for Ozzy. I like Yul too and Im glad it was one of those 2.
Im glad Ozzy atleast won the car.

I'm glad Yul won, too. I think this is a first for me watching Survivor where I wasn't completely rooting for only one survivor at the final council. I think Ozzy and Yul played so well.

Hindsight being 20/20, it was apparent that Ozzy and Yul really needed each other to make it to the end.

Fantastic season and I can't wait for Fiji!!!

I figured Ozzy had it wrapped up, but oh well, as they say, very hard to predict Survivor outcomes. After that sad story Ozzy told about his childhood, I thought for sure he would have it after that.

Did anyone think the girl was going to win? Just kidding, poor thing, almost felt sorry for her.

I really, really thought Ozzy would win... but I am happy Yul did.

Man, Ozzy is HOT!

I'm getting tired of hearing the "4 stuck together" comments - they would have voted Ozzy off if he hadn't dominated the immunity challenges.

I thought Adam's idea of forcing the Immunity Idol into play was a great one -unfortunately, the players didn't.

Ozzy is hot! I would like to know who voted for who.

Yeah I know what you mean, I remembered last night, but I have missed at least 2 finalis because of that. I don't know why they change the night up for the finali, that confuses a lot of people I know.

I'm still kicking myself about it!

As for the tie breaker, one of the classic lines has to be "We are going to Matches" Poor Becky and Sundra. The fact that they could not get a fire started even with flint and steel is sad.
