***Official*** Star Wars: Galaxy's Edge Information Thread *** Contains SPOILERS ***

The guests go to the side entrance by the ramp, they'll see people with blue vests and ipads, ask for rider swap, they scan the mb or ticket. They scan only 3 passes, the 3 scanned will be the ones who are re-riding.
The cm will give you a return time, most likely whatever wait time is for ther current line. So let's say you scan for rider swap at 3pm, the edit time is an hour, your twin timber wil be 4pm. The first group gets in line to ride. You get out, swap so someone stays with the kids and for the re ride go to the tapstiles in the middle of the entrance.
When they're getting close to closing time, you set up as normal, the first group will get a lanyard, they get to a certain point in the queue, they will give the lanyard to the cm and be put in the fp line, so they have enough time to ride, get out and swap

This is awesome. Thank you so much.

I'm actually dreading the day MFSR opens fp option. I'm a local with an AP so can only book 30 days out, which will mean the only way to ride will be single rider (when open) or wait upwards of maybe 2 hours

Same. I avoided it on opening day when I was there. So looking forward to finally riding it. I'm guessing I won't ride it much if it's constantly 90 min plus once fp opens up

Or rope drop it after ROTR opens, which is where everyone else will be headed.

Just came back from DHS for EEMH, so I actually booked a room when they first announced EEMH to take advantage of it, it just happened to coincide with the storm. It was so unbelievably empty this morning. I was inside Dok Ondar with only CM around me, so enjoyable.
Just walked into Oga's to walk around and look, they were doing the 360 shot by the Tie Echelon
We went this morning too but didn’t leave our resort until 6. It sure was empty! We were happy to ride the MFSR which still had a wait time of 60 min but we made friends with the family in front of us so that’s always fun. The husband in the group ahead of us gets motion sickness so he wanted to trade me for my gunner position (I was happy to oblige). I finally got pilot! We didn’t get through to the asteroid field today but we did the other night. Anyone know what triggers that scene?

Happy they had the 360 picture photogs out today. After GE we rode slinky with a 10 minute wait and TSMM with absolutely no wait at all (queue went the back way in with no up and down steps). Afterwards we did the M&G at Launch Bay with Chewie, Darth Vader, and BB8., did the Frozen Singalong (I love that one) and we were back at the Poly by 11:15.
9/9 for me too but it was pretty basic especially if you’ve been as obsessive as I have

Everyone seems to want to get into Oga's but the reviews aren't that great, overall I mean. I did make a reservation for my trip in January but besides alcohol, there isn't really a snack menu except for one thing. I may just go in, look around and leave.

You won’t need your ADR.

Go to Oga’s podium and ask for a quick tour. A CM will accompany you and you won’t block another guest from making a reservation.

Oga's is being discussed more at length on the drinks and food thread. But like others have said you are paying as much for the atmosphere as for the drinks. People for some reason don't understand that Oga's is a Cantina, a lounge, a bar basically. It is loud with DJ Rex and everyone talking and having a good time. The atmosphere is part of the experience, I have had, so far, 4 drinks at Oga's and only one ( a non alcoholic one) was to my disliking.
People don't like that there's no place to sit. That is described in the page where you go to make your reservations.
People want more booze in their drinks, that is something that could be fixed.
Instead of taking a reservation spot for someone that actually wants to go in and have the entire experience why not just cancel your reservation, approach Oga's podium and ask to go in for a quick tour?

I have an Oga's reservation for next week but am pretty sure I'm going to let it go. I booked it the first day they offered reservations to ensure that we would be able to get into Galaxy's Edge. Looks like that shouldn't be a problem so I'm going to let it go and allow someone who really wants it to use it. Off to see if there is a thread for those cancelling SWGE reservations.

There is :)

I honestly don't understand the negative reviews for Oga's, as I absolutely LOVED it! I think it must be a matter of expectations: I expected a bar with music, laughter, weird drinks, and a ton of SW-esque themeing - and I experienced exactly that. If I lived closer, I'd find a way to budget it once a week, lol! But yeah, if someone goes in expecting a full food menu, or regular drinks you can find anywhere else, or a sanitized "pretend" bar, I think they'll be disappointed. It felt like most nightclubs and bars I frequented in my youth, only Star Wars-y.

As I can't have an alcohol because of medication reason but I looked at the menu to see what were the drinks before going. I just hope I can find a good one lol The non alcoholic drinks haven't been getting good reviews lol

some of the negative reviews are around how they were treated - how they are stuffing people at tables/high tops that are not big enough for the # of people they are putting at them, and how you aren't allowed (or at least they weren't) allowed to walk around and check the place out (some saying they were yelled at to get back to their spot).

So I think it has been mixed experiences. Many people have had really good times, but some people have had fairly negative ones and like a lot of things the negative ones are often the loudest

Are you free to look around for a few minutes after your 45mn is up?

I see different reports - some people say they have been able to walk around no problem, and others saying you can kinda look around on your way out but not really explore. I've honestly been surprised by how extreme some of the negative reports come off (not saying they aren't accurate but just seems like large inconsistencies in how CMs hare handling things)
