***Official*** Star Wars: Galaxy's Edge Information Thread *** Contains SPOILERS ***

After the news embargo was released and we have all of these new details, Im going to have to backtrack on my saying I would avoid GE until late 2020. I still will not be attending on any regular day but Im prepared to pay a decent chunk of change to visit at a paid event. Here's hoping they have some. I really want to see it while its new and pristine and before everyone carves their initials into the standby line queue.

not sure if this has been posted but it seems to indicate something about the next movie

Um, wow! I dont see anywhere the mention of how much the droids are going to cost....and I wonder, if they are remote controlled and your droid can communicate with other droids that pass by, what effect the extra "foot" traffic is going to have. I expect this SWGE is going to be crazy enough without having droids rolling around too?

Disney....just take all my money!

This tweet is for me and you

you get a box. It would be cool to have them interact in the land but I am not paying $$$ to then have it ran over by people

Well, per D23 they will interact with the land:

"The Droid Depot is located in the market, inviting patrons to pick parts and pieces off a conveyor belt, then build and customize their astromech droids (R-series or BB-series); the droids are capable of interacting with elements in the land, responding to guests’ behaviors. Additional programming chips and accessories can be added to the droids to further customize their abilities. "

yes I know that's what I'm saying, it would be cool to get to do that but I'm not risking it unless it's in a weird alley that's mostly deserted

ah I gotcha - would be cool for you to have yours interact with the land, but you won't risk it. I totally get that and what I am worried about and how that will work .... can you do it while holding them or do you have put them down and let them move around and stuff

This is what I was referring too, also! I cant imagine ever having an area where you would put them on the ground and NOT run the risk of it getting lost in the sea of humanity that will be SWGE. I suppose the safest bet will be that it can interact while being carried. Wouldn't it be a tripping hazard to those around you if it were to roam the crowded passageways of the land?

What do we know about the rides in SWGE? Will they be like FOP? To me, FOP is the best ride I've ever been on. It feels like your really riding because of the way the seats are designed like motorcycles (almost) so you can lean in as your flying. Not sure this can be outdone. Also, just as an aside, I don't think Pandora is all that big, and from what someone said, SWGE is only a few acres larger. I hope all the hype meets expectations, you know how that goes. We are already booked for Disneyland on November 9th, so we will get to experience it there before going to DW the next year. Who knows about crowd levels, but I'm sure there will be mobs of people.

It’s been said that’s Rise of the Resistance will be the best attraction Disney has ever built.

Will they move Jedi Training INTO GE? That just popped into my mind...
