***Official November 2013 - Part II*** (that's right....we're that popular!)

I packed a few things last night, one being our swim suits. Then the forecasted temps went down, I'm rushing upstairs to put swimsuits back in closet so maybe temp will go up.

Magic bands worked great for the magical express and all dining so far ..I can see its easy to spend extra this way

Was busy at work today so just caught up.

I am freezing. We have awful wind here that makes a cold day even worse. Don't think we will have any snow before we leave but we will have temperatures in the teens.

I am discouraged by the forecast for Orlando our week too. I really hope it is wrong and it is sunny, dry, and 5-10 degrees warmer than predicted now.

Had a super frustrating day at work today so feeling blah now. Not even thinking about the trip is helping. And my mother in law (who was watching the kids today) said "see you Thursday" to my son on the way out. When he asked why, she said "when you drop [the dog] off". She's watching the dog while we are gone. I just hope he didn't quite catch that.

We are here now and it's not cold but not as warm as it was supposed to be

Okay so how many suitcases are you packing?
We are a family of 6 going for 8 days and I packed 5 suitcases! One suitcase was filled with "tinkerbell presents" haha.

Well I am glad I am not alone :) I much rather it hot than too cold! Been there done that with a December 2010 trip with record low temps of 28 degrees!

We were there then too! I'm pretty sure that was the trip that we watched all the leaves turn color and as we walked through EPCOT the leaves were falling from the trees. Thank goodness I had my earmuffs and a pair of mittens along with me since our home airport is Detroit where we were already well into winter.

Me too but I have to admit I freakin out a little bit about Wednesday's forecast.

The forecast here is cold but no rain or snow. But I did check the weather for Florida and there are a couple of days where it may rain with thundershowers

I'd rather it too cold than too hot, I just want to be sure so I'm packed right.

Silly old bear....

We plan to do laundry while we are there, but I still over pack.

I'm with you on that! I hate cold weather. I'm praying for 70's & 80's while we are there. :beach:

I'm sitting here listening to Christmas music and drinking some French vanilla coffee. I'm dreading going to our football game tonight because I know I will freeze!! If my daughter was not cheering I would skip it! :crazy2:

I don't care about the temps as long as the rain stays away, we will even swim if it is it the 60's.

I REFUSE to do laundry on vacation. DH says he wants to pack light so he can carry all his stuff on the plane and do laundry there. Fine. He can do laundry. :thumbsup2 I did not put that into our itinerary though. Not sure where he will fit it in....

I am FREEZING right now. I hate the cold. Your coffee sounds perfect right now. Oh, I don't know what I'm going to do when my kids start all this stuff I will have to tolerate cold for! Good luck staying warm tonight!

OK I laughed out loud at your hubby fitting time for laundry in when that is not part of your itinerary. I actually told the kids that 5 days of clothes was enough since we have a washer/dryer in our room, but having different clothes for each day does make sorting the pictures out easier. You will have to come over to my villa and and do laundry while we sit on the balcony and have wine. We are coming back to the resort early on the 17th ;)

Just thought of a question!!!

I wonder if I will hear the song "Be Our Guest" in the entry way of BOG.
I love that song.

I can only sing it the "new" way ---

"Be our test! Be our test!
Magic Bands will make you stressed
Strap this bracelet 'round your wrist, my dear,
And we mess up the rest.
FP+,
ADR,
Be Our Guest, it has a bar?...."

Oh is that the problem, I'll unpack our bathing suits if that is the problem.

Funny, we are trying to fit the 5 of us in 3 suitcases with my inlaws packing separately.

:cool1: leaving tomorrow morning. Just did online check-in with southwest and hope the flight leaves on time with no problems. 90% of my luggage is packed and just have to do some last minute shopping. My husband is not going on this trip so I have to make sure he has enough food (that he can handle cooking). Went out and bought earplugs just in case I find out my mother snores:rotfl:

I would prefer a chill to too hot too. After doing September I am looking forward to less humidity and heat.

We'll swim in the 70s for sure. We went in February one year and swam when it was apparently a 'cold snap' :confused3

Are you hosting a laundry and wine dismeet?

Good news this morning for all going in same time frame as me - the weather is looking nicer again. Now, if only it would warm up more on our arrival day since I was counting on that as being one of the days DGS would enjoy the pool slide. Since our plane doesn't arrive until around 2:45 pm our plans are to just spend arrival late afternoon/evening at our resort.

Well we are having fun this morning. We left Florence,NC at 7:00am continuing on our way home after stopping for the night. We got an hour away from the hotel when my mother realized she left her purse in the room at the hotel. So we drive the hour back to the hotel to get it. We are now finally on our way back on our way home again with our 2hr delay. :sad2: Remember to check that you have everything people.

OMG, we should totally do that! We are getting back to our resort early on 11/17. We could have the kids watch Monsters University at the movie under the stars while we sit on the balcony and have some wine and cheese. BYOS - Bring your own soap ;)

Oh no, nothing like making a long drive even longer.

I noticed that too, now our HS day isn't supposed to have thunderstorms, hope it stays that way. That is the one day I'd like it to be colder so we could bundle up a bit for our stroll through the Osborne lights.

5 days to go!!! :cheer2:

And just wanted to pop in (as a long-time lurker) and say how much I have appreciated everyone's tips in this thread during all my long hours of planning our trip!! Huge thanks to you all!! :flower3:

This time in 2 wks I will have woken up at Okw and had breakfast at CRT. Woohoo.
