***Official November 2013 - Part II*** (that's right....we're that popular!)

I'm not into flip flops either my old feet need support. Easy spirit has very padded comfortable. Ones that I can use near the pools. If u ever are in the market for doable flips Sheilby. Try easy spirit

I think you'd be surprised by the Teva ones too. As Seilby said, they are like walking on clouds! They have EVA footbeds and are SO forgiving on the feet. Not at all like regular flops. I got them based on my beach-bum sister's (from Cape May) recommendation. Best purchase ever!

Are Easy Spirits expensive?

Yes , they will be up. Everything was decorated last time. WDW wastes no time , right after Halloween they start decorating. They go up almost over night.

Poly and GF will have everything up. MK will to as the MVMCP is starting this week. (Sold out) Osbourne lights are up too.

I am excited for you if its your first time seeing it

Well I saw some decorations on my first trip in 5th grade, went to bed one night and then woke up to decorations, but back then they decorated much later. I don't really remember them much. Next time I went to Disney was in September 2010 so the Christmas stuff will really be all new to me, and no one else in my family even has the 31 year old memories that I do. We are so excited. I truly can't think of anything other than Disney.

OK 4 days.....

Heres a fun totally u important question....

Where is your first meal going to take place????!

Mine is California Grill during Wishes!

That is so cool, what a fun first dinner. Ours will be the night we arrive at Chefs de France. We have never been there so we are excited. We should be done in time to find a good spot for IllumiNations.

I have them on right now, they still feel great, but I have noticed that the area under the balls of my feet have thinned out considerably considering I wore them almost everyday in the spring and summer. I may go look and see if I can get another pair for the trip. I'm surprised by how much I can walk around in them without my feet hurting. I get plantar fasciitis really easily without good support, but these don't seem to give me a problem.

I think we are going o stay at the poly next time. It's lays been my dream to stay there but POFQ is more affordable. Next time we are going to try poly.. You recommend it highly?

Thanks for replying! It is our first time seeing it all decorated! We are taking our 5yo DD, 4yo DS & 2yo DD! I'm especially excited for them!!! :) our first night, the 11th were eating at 1900 park fare so we'll get to see GF then :)
I don't think he means the gingerbread house at GF . That went up the 18 or 19 last year. I could be wrong my old brains forgetful sometimes lol but I only know this because i wanted to see it so bad but it wasn't up till our last day and we missed it. I'd just google it eventually they will list the date. I wish all the resorts would decorate all of nov.POFQ waited till nov 16 last year

You just made me buy another pair, way to get me to spend money missy. I love Amazon, they will be here on Wednesday.

I love Amazon too. Reading your posts made me go look them up. But I decided not to buy flip flops since I have the other brown strappy Tevas that I just bought end of September, so I can wear those if I don't want my Spencos.
But I did look. :lmao:

I just ran to "The Christmas Tree Shop" to get some new curtain rods and a drawer thing for my coffee pods and was going to see what else they had since I had an email 20% off coupon.....Yikes!!!! Won't go there again on a Sunday. It was totally insane. Worse than Disney lines I think. Oh well if there was something there that I was suppose to get to bring with me on vacation, I didn't get it. Too crazy for me. And of course when I checked out, the cashier realized that she forgot to give me my 20% so I had to go to the Customer Service desk that had a crazy line with two cashiers. One that was in tears because she needed to leave for her grandmothers funeral.

Yup happy to be home and get Disney thoughts back in my head.
That was not fun kind of stuff at all. And really, I'm sorry the first week in November is tough for me to care about Christmas decorations. I know thus the name but they sell more than that. I'm honestly struggling that Disney will have Christmas decorations up when I get there. Don't get me wrong, I realize I signed up to see it now, but just struggling.

I hope my brain can handle going from Christmas to Thanksgiving and back to Christmas.

I bought a 4 pk of ponchos on amazon last night for $5.50. I ordered some more stuff too and was able to get free shipping. Just thought I'd let everyone know since it's a great deal!

Ill have to look them up .

There are different kinds, I don't like the flat kind, I need the foot shaped ones. Hope it allows me to show an Amazon link: http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B00566X6PE/ref=ox_ya_os_product - Only 20 bucks, I did get them cheaper at Famous Footware this summer, but I didn't want to spend time running around and hoping they would be in stock.

Made you look, made you look ;)

Christmas tree shop is always a madhouse on the weekend. I don't really like shopping, but I HATE to do it on the weekends. I'm spoiled by weekday lines.

The older I get, the earlier I want to start Christmas. It takes so much work to set everything up that I want to enjoy it for longer. We were going to do Disney in the beginning of December, but I was afraid of feeling too stressed out getting all the Christmas stuff done after missing a week at home. Still, it will be weird celebrating Christmas stuff before Thanksgiving even hits - at least I got to "meet" all of you though.

Ong it's setting in. In 80 percent packed . Soon to be on the magic bus

I'm about 5% packed.

I'm 0% packed but don't leave for 11 days. I have been setting things aside for a long time and went through that box yesterday. And have been putting clothes I might pack for my son in one part of his closet. He wears uniforms to school so not worried about him needing them, but the extended forecast keeps going from 70's to 80's and back. And ordered a bunch of things for DD, and then saw shipping can be 7-10 BUSINESS days. Hoping for more like 7!

You didn't buy a pair that matched your magic band?
I'm not sure if I would like the wedge or twist my ankle.

Wow my body is reminding me that I did a lot yesterday and with no sneakers. Bare feet is a big no no. Shame on me.

Anybody else having a hard time with a sudden temp drop from yesterday. Yikes I'm cold.

You still sound organized though. To be setting things aside is the same as packing. I have my boys trying on things today to see if they fit. Man their summer things look raggedy.

Only the black was available for Prime shipping, I didn't want to take the chance of getting them on time without Prime. The wedge looks bigger than they are. The heel kind of cups your heel and there is still support in the arch. I'm really, really, really klutzy and I haven't twisted my ankle yet. I really didn't expect to like them so much, but now I'm hooked. Bare feet is a major no-no with me too.

It is majorly colder today, and yesterday I turned the heat off downstairs and cracked some windows - walked downstairs this morning and was quite shocked.

I have a flat pair with crisscross straps that really stay on your feet well. I actually just ordered the wedge in that same style because I feel just the slight lift is better for my feet. The wedge in that style looks to be smaller than the ones Sheilby just purchased, although she did say that was smaller than it looked. I'm on my iPod now, I will try to post the link later.

You guys have been super chatty. I haven't been on since Wednesday or Thursday so I didn't read all posts.

Happy anniversary to all those celebrating!!!'

Safe travels to all those traveling!!'

My DH has been sick for at least two weeks. He has a doc appointment tomorrow, I have a feeling the doc is going to tell him he has pneumonia. On,y 20 days to go for us.

If it makes you feel better, I hadn't said so, but I bought a pair off Amazon last week. : )

Too funny, and yes, I feel better :) How do you like the wedge ones?

Thanks, took me to a weird page though, the ponchos were there, but it didn't look like a regular Amazon page. I think I'll grab a pack.
