***Official November 2013 - Part II*** (that's right....we're that popular!)

My husband is totally up for the matching t-shirts - we are fans of the cheese, but I haven't even starting sewing their Halloween costumes yet. Laziness will get in the way of being as cheesy as we'd like once again.

My husband changes clothes if we even end up wearing the same color. He would kill me if hit anything that matched.

years ago we got on a ride at the wrong time.
Winnie the pooh said 45 minute wait, FP was 70 minutes so we got in line (again not understanding FP) and 2 hours later we finally got on Winnie the pooh.
It was not a pretty meltdown at the end for my son.

I've heard Dumbo can get long lines.

I'm only doing Winnie the pooh to try to get a chance to experience without a meltdown, but then again my husband could so......he doesn't want to go on it. LOL

Small World I've never waited more than 10 minutes.

I'm sure my husband will HATE both Small World and Pooh. Of course, what rides have I planned out as our first rides? Yup. Pooh and Small World. Maybe he will be happy with the 3rd, Peter Pan. Good to know the lines are not generally long. : )

My husband is going to have sore eye sockets with all the sighing and rolling of eyes when our first rides include Dumbo, Pooh, Small World et al.

Then he'll see the kids smiling faces, get taken to a Tusker House feast and all will be well ;)

Do people decorate only on holiday times?

We are going to coordinate and do classic mickey colors for the MK day and castle photo. So faring honk we will do...
DD,..red and white dotted skirt, black t with red glitter mickey logo (leggings under if cold)
DS. Red t shirt (if I can find one now I forgot to buy in summer) with painted on top yellow neck tie with black mickys, black shorts ( jeans if cold)
Me.....denim capris, black t with either a cute red/white headband or a painted on yellow bow on shirt? Till deciding this
DH,....being a sport. Black shorts and dark grey t, painting a black mickey logo on chest.

Now my mom..she's not understanding why we would do this. I am hoping for the pictures she picks one of the colors and runs with it but who knows.

Anyone planning to decorate their windows or doors at their resort?

I want to make some kind of decoration since older DS has state band competition the day before we leave. I'd like to do a play on the "what are you gonna do now?" "I'm going to Disneyworld!" Not sure where I can do it at AKL room?

We've done Halloween, Christmas, New Year's, and birthday decorations before.

Deluxes are hard to do decorations that are visible to other people. But we decorated inside the room last Dec at BWV and AKL. I even had a tree delivered.

I've had the opposite experience at scouts. I'm cubmaster for my middle son's pack and we had our Halloween party on Monday night. The kids were less unruly than usual and the parents actually stepped forward to help. Then last night I was at my older son's troop meeting since I'm the Popcorn Kernel. I asked which boys didn't bring their forms and I had those boys call their parents to bring them with them during pick up. I got 100% of them to turn them in - YAY! That never happens.

Last night was popcorn turn in for us too, so the Kernel and I were trying to get everything done and in order and the parents were just trying to rush us. Plus almost everyone waited to turn all their stuff in at once so it was a lot to count and figure, and they weren't organized. I don't like to rush with thousands of dollars! Then I had to get checks issued for four of the patrols for a cookoff event next week, reimburse some people, and take payments for the Nov. camporee and winter camp-whew! I remember the days of splitting between troop and pack- it'll be easier once they're both together!

Yup. Then they will see it is all worth it! :) And a buffet is always good for appeasing my husband. :rotfl2: Do you go to TH for breakfast or dinner? I actually cannot decide between the 2, or maybe Boma. But Boma is just so difficult to get to.

That's funny! :lmao:

When the kids were younger I'd pick clothes for them that went with the park we were going to sometimes. Since they started dressing themselves though I let them wear what they want. Last trip though we all four ended up wearing tops with mainly grey the first day- it looked like we all coordinated on purpose.

This trip I am purposely wearing a Disney shirt each day, but my guys can wear whatever they like- I just wanted to be fun. I have two Maleficent's, Tink, Toy Story, Pluto, Little Mermaid, Monsters, Inc., and PotC. Anybody want to recommend which day to wear which shirts? (we have arrival day, MK day, Epcot day, DHS day, Blizzard Beach/DTD day, resort hop/DTD day, AKL/MK day, and departure day)

That is too funny! My husband actually suggested it. More so because my girlfriend and her husband who will also be vacationing the same time rolled their eyes when we joked about it.

When we took the boys not only did I coordinate shirt colors but also denim shorts or colored shorts! It was more in case one of them went missing I could say "He's dressed like me" and not have to remember what he was wearing. There was a time at the beach that I couldn't remember what he was wearing when he disappeared. That was a nightmare day!!!

Anyway, my DH has a great sense of humor. (again my friend rolled her eyes) The day I went shopping for new under garments and matched the top and bottom he laughed. Once in a while he'll ask me if our underwear colors match.

We actually are planning to do matchy matchy the first couple of days just to see if my friend and her husband notice. Oh and sure, I'll try to make the under garments match too. :lmao:
Of course my socks will be matching my clothing. Even if they are white, the stripe on the toe will probably be the color of my shirt. ;)

And for those that laughed about the other poster asking which shirts for which days.....LOL......I'm wearing Purple to Epcot, Rust to MK because we have dinner with Winnie and Tigger, and then was thinking Royal blue to HS.

I was thinking Light blue or yellow for MK the day we eat at BOG.

So ya way too much planning time here.

But with 24 days to go......lots can change.....but it's still fun to plan and replan!!!!

Oh boy!!! I was wondering how I was getting away with no Popcorn calls this year. And sure enough I read this email and the phone rang!!!

The secret weapon was used!!!!
DH's 5 year old God daughter called with her little voice asking if we would buy popcorn from her brothers boy scout group. :rotfl2:
They must be needing to turn it in tonight or something because she said they were over the neighbors selling so she got to call. :lmao:

So of course I bought the chocolate drizzle one! :scared1:
I didn't ask price before I ordered.

I'm sure DH and I will enjoy every bite when we get it.
I hope it comes after Disney. Something to look forward to.

I told the parents that if they give me cash I'm keeping it. ;) I told them that as the money gal for 3 different groups I can't keep it straight so I told them that they had to keep the cash and write me a check for that amount made out to the troop. We had our camporee a couple of weeks ago, but weeblos woods is this weekend (I made them sign up their boys online with the district directly, I'm mean) I'm going to be stuck with pack and troop for a long time, my youngest just became a Tiger. Sounds like they really ran you ragged last night.

Ha, that is funny. My husband is enjoying getting older and seems to have embraced his inner engineer geek. He even bought short sleeved button-down shirts with pockets this summer for work. I took such a fit of laughter. He totally rocked the shirt though, even the peach colored one ;)

Does anyone know the current cost of a stamp for a postcard? I want to send the grandkids some and I thought I'd go to post office tomorrow and get the stamps.

My husband would probably change shirts too! I'm married to an engineer too. Definitely not into anything "cutesy" and would not be caught dead in peach. His 3 brothers all tease him and call him Pinky.

My husband is an Engineer/Geek also and he is so secure in his manhood!!!
Well when it comes to pink. Not sure I could get him to wear mint green.
Or flowery shirts unless they are very tropical obvious.
He has a pink polo and isin't afraid. LOL
It's light pink though and I tend to go for the darker pink, so not sure he'll be wearing it at Disney. Hmmm have to talk to him about that because I do have a floral pink top that would put us back in matchy zone as it's various colors of pink and coral. :lmao:

So faring honk we will do....

Is that a phrase I don't know or a typo?

The little girls will match or coordinate each day but DH will only match DS once and my older DD and I will match that day too. Other than that just hoping to not clash.

Going to make window decorations this weekend, if I can think of something cute and easy.

No idea about the current price but if you are planning on sending them from Disney they do sell postcard stamps in all the resorts.

30 days.
720 hours.
43,200 minutes.
2,592,000 seconds.

But who's counting? We are! MB's are being customized and ship soon, DME luggage tags arrived earlier this week, and FP+ ressies are being tweaked. Oh, yeah, that packing thing...:rolleyes1
