which fast pass should I give up for Jungle Book tomorrow? Dinosaur or Festival of the Lion King?

Lion king. All the lion king fp does is get you seating in the lion section (I believe it's lion).

It is very possible to get a better seat in standby.

I also think usually everyone gets in to whatever show they want so long as they're there about ten minutes before show time.

Yeah, I think these were the times for the original rol preview events that got leaked. So it makes sense they'd stick with these times.

Wow 11? Makes AK now somewhat of an equivalent to MK as far as park duration and potentially crowds...

I agree. I started a different post on how odd it is that ak has such late hours yet Epcot still closed at 9.

I really have to wonder if people will spend enough money at ak at night to justify these late hours.

Are they still updating park hours today? I'm hoping they will extend hours for our trip in Sept cause I would love to get a dining package reserved tomorrow.

Maybe it is just for the sun sets later factor in summertime? I would think in the winter months they wouldn't be open as late since they could probably start the shows earlier with the sun setting earlier. But who knows, so many changes my head is spinning hahaha.

I'm just curious. If I was to get a fastpass for the new JB show, would they have the safari open until 11 p.m. for people to enter the line? Or do you think they will close the line early, so they can put the animals to bed as close to 11 p.m. as possible?

Since AK hours are now posted through August....does that mean that the dining packages for the Jungle book will bookable for those dates as well?

Maybe it will be like the Candlelight Processional Dining Packages at Epcot and your show time will depend on when you eat (i.e. breakfast folks get the earliest show, lunch the middle show, and dinner the late show)...that would seem to make some sense.

Disney usually keeps the lines open until closing. However, they could decide that the safari closes at 10:30, since it oftentimes closes before the park does.

We'll find out next week.

They stopped that with CP last year, you could pick your showtime regardless of meal time.

I just got back home so what I'm posting has possibly already been said, if so sorry.

Thanks. Would you be willing to let me know when you find out?

I'll try to remember to send you a pm, but I might forget.

I'd come back to this thread next weekend and I'm sure people will be discussing it here.

If not, ask your question again at that time and I'm sure someone will know :)

Hah, so I was right about standby being by nemo.

So Asia side is all fp+. Wonder how early they'll let people line up for that.
