Official MNSSHP [Mickey's Not So Scary Halloween Party] 2007...

Actually, it does exist and there are several posts/threads about it HERE's one.

You may be able to order thru Disney, not sure yet. There are already some on Ebay.

The CD came out about a week after the first MNSSHP party.

Does anyone know how many tickets they sell for each MNSSHP?? I saw that Halloween night is sold out, Just wondering how many people will be there when it is Sold Out.

This is a well guarded secret but there are rumored numbers.

The number out there right now is 30,000 tickets. In the beginning it was 18,000.

We have tickets for the 30th. I'm sure that since the 31st is sold out, the 30th is going to become very popular.

I'll be right there with you! Hopefully it won't be too bad, but I think you're right it will be popular. I'll be there that whole week, and have a feeling those dates so close to Halloween will be much fuller than more recent parties... but I guess I'll wait and see! Have a great time!!

Count us in for the party on the 30th too! I was hoping that people would be out trick or treating with their kids (if they live in Florida) or have tickets for the 31st. This is our 1st time to Disney and I want to see Everything (even though know we won't be able too) without being smashed by crowds! I am sure it will be fun no matter what.

Has everyone thats gone in the last few weeks been able to get in at 4pm still? Thanks guys. We are SOOOO exicted!!!

Thanks! I think that I spent just about as much time on this as I did my wedding dress. But it was fun to make. When we get back I have to make Jack Sparrow's jacket for DH - I didn't have time to make it for our trip. But then it'll be too hot to wear it next week, anyway.

We went to the party Fri. night and the weather was absolutely gorgeous! Haven't transferred pics yet but will post some when I do.
Candy was a great assortment by the way. Got everything from Snicker bars to Bottle Caps. Not sure what the fuss has been over the assortment but we were happy!

We went to the party on 10/12 and had a great time. Weather was wonderful, not too hot, no humidity and no rain! Yea! The candy was quite an assortment. Lots of lollipops and traditional halloween-type candy. Not so much chocolate. CM's were pretty generous with DDs, but not so much with DH and I, but still plenty of candy. Toward the end of the night a CM even handed DD7 a bag of cotton candy. She was thrilled.

Best of all, we finally got to see the Headless Horseman!!! He was so cool and that horse was huge.

All rides were walk-on - even Dumbo!

My only complaint is the fake fog they were using in the queue for HM and again in the AL plaza. I hated the smell of it and it was so thick I could hardly breathe. I asked a CM in the plaza how she could stand working in it and she rolled her eyes and said "It's not easy". A little fog is nice for atmosphere, but it was much too thick on Friday.

All in all, another great MNSSHP!!

I am usually very positive on these boards, but had to respond to these numbers...I agree that the numbers have gone up. We did the party for the first time 4 yrs ago and most recently on 10/4 a thursday - the crowds were soo much higher that we probably wouldn't do this party again...don't get me wrong, it is fun, the fireworks are great, the parade fun, but there are now lines for everything, candy, charcters and I don't like standing in lines !!!

we went to MK the morning of our MNSSHp and the park was EMPTY ! walk right on everything, easy to get to characters, but starting around 6pm it WAS PACKED !!!

If I did it again my expectations would change and I would plan on doing just one thing...either look for unusual characters and plan on standing in line all night, just hang out for the parade/fireworks and look at costumes or do the rides...we used to be able to do all and now even staying until park close you will not be able to do everything...

I also thought that it lost some of its "magic" as in previous years everyone would be sent to tomorrowland for an hour and the park would be magically transformed for the party, now there are decorations all the time and only a couple of inflatables are blown up...

as is the case with everything good...it becomes too popular and changes...I am so sure that a thur night in early Oct was not sold out...I can't imagine even more people there than we had.....
