Official MNSSHP [Mickey's Not So Scary Halloween Party] 2007...

I read in a thread that you can not wear a costume that might be confused with a real CM character. Is this true? I was going to go as Snow White - I do resemble her. I dress up at a children's Halloween event as Snow White - the Grimm's fairytale version of course b/c Disney does not like copyright infringements! My DD will be Cinderella and my DS a pirate. I would have a hard time convincing DH to dress up as prince charming , so I don't know what he'll wear.

We're going Tuesday, October 16, our first MNSSHP. I know that my kids will want to do a lot of rides (along with everything else!), and I was wondering if the rides are busy, or not. They will want to go on the Fantasyland rides, and BTMRR. I know there's a lot going on that evening that I will also need to get in.

We're going to try to get to the MK by 3:00 (we'll have length of stay passes) & have a 5:15 Tony's ADR. We'll want to get in some rides not open that night before they close at 7:00, then we'll hit the treat lines in Fantasyland/Toontown ASAP. We'll plan on seeing the 2nd parade. Is it best to do the rides early, or later?

Sorry - I'm baffled and confused!

We'll be there the 28th (if correct date) got ADRs for LTT @ 4:30pm (how early!!) but had to get 2 tables (2-2) no table of 4, oh well!! now to figure out what everyone will wear

Awesome! Thanks! No, I don't think anyone has posted the "official" dates yet. I called last week, and the CM said he didn't have anything yet, so this is good news! We'll be there Sept 14th!

These are the dates that are already on the DIS and other disney fan website BUT not all these dates match Disney official October park hours so that is where the confusion lies.

Days that MK closes at 7:00p (taken from their website):

September 14, 21, 28, October 4, 5, 8, 11, 12, 14, 16, 18, 21, 23, 25, 26, 28, 30, 31

The dates bolded are the ones that don't match up.

We'll find out soon enough.

I am helping a friend plan her trip and her boys want to do the party. So I am joining in on the watch so her kids wont be disappointed. Sometimes it is almost as fun helping someone else plan their trip.
It gives me another excuse to read more on the DIS.

UGH! I want them to release the official dates. If it is on the 8th we can go, if it is on the 9th we'll miss it. We're only gonna be there for three nights for Race for the Taste.


PrincessHeart, DH and I went as Alice and the Mad Hatter once and they told us at the gate we just couldn't pose for photos or do autographs. Hope that helps!

I just called a few minutes ago and the CM said the official dates still aren't out yet. I'm hoping for Sept 14th. It will be our last night there. Anyone know how bad the crowds are historically at the first MNSSHP? We've been twice, but always in October mid-week.

I don't know what to make of that calendar! It says every Thur and Fri (except Fri the 19th (mine))) MK closes at 7. So, is the party on Thur or Fri?

I'm confused. I want to book ADR's for LTT.
