Woo-Hoo... One step closer to our trip!!! The only problem, once I order the tickets, I won't have anything else to do for our trip... maybe I'll plan the next trip!

Anyway, I have a question... do I call the regular number if ordering tickets with an AP? Or is there somewhere else order from?

Thanks for all this great info! We can't wait until October! We haven't been to MNSSHP since 2003 and the kids were too young to stay up late!

Does anyone do more than one MNSSHP on one trip? Dh and I are thinking of taking the kids twice since we are there for 14 days but only have 10 day tix we figure we could attend this twice. We went to the P&P party and they just loved it.

If you're already in the park, how do they identify you as a MNNSHP ticket holder? Do they give you a bracelet like for EMH? If you're already in the MK, how does that work?

We have ADRs for CP at 6:00 that night, so we should be able to get in the park at 5:30ish with the party tickets, is that right?

Should be able to get in after 4:00p with just your party ticket and you would get your wristband as you go through the turnstyle and swipe your ticket.

If you are already in the park before 4:00p then as it gets closer to the party time there will be CMs around the park to exchange your tickets for wristbands.

Also the restaurant may be able to do the exchange for you as well.

When i called to add an ADR today; i asked about the MVMCP dates...

CM laughed & said they're all just hoping to get thru tomorrow...

askled if i could keep a 'secret' another confirmation of:

1st sale day of MNSSHP and Princess Party tix; along with MVMCP - CP not until 180 days out though.

fyi, only certain dates were open for DVC disc on MNSSHP & MVMCP last year (not ours lol).

Original plan was 9/15-9/18 w/kids and grandparents, one park a day. Convinced DH to go down on the afternoon of 9/14 and let the grandparents meet up with us the next day. My argument was that with the free dining it was still cheaper to add the day and then we'd have an "easy" arrival day. But now....I have ALWAYS wanted to do one of the hard ticket parties and realized that MNSSHP will be there on arrival day!!

So would you bother trying to fit it in?? Our day would look like this....
8am kids at school and hubby at work
1pm pick up kids and hubby to go to airport
3:30-6:50 in flight
7-8:30 DME and check-in resort
8:30ish get to MNSSHP

I think that's too late. It's so expensive and things could go wrong.

You could always just play it buy ear and buy the tickets as you enter the park if you do decide to do it but I think you'd get there later than 8:30p, IMHO.

I agree- if your flight is even a little late, you will probably miss (most of) the party. I think DME takes longer than the time you are estimating as well. Add in tired kids and stressing about "getting there on time" and you have the recipe for a pretty UN-fun evening.

All the more reason to plan another trip!!

If I had to speculate, I would think this might go later than 8:30, especially when traveling on a Friday. You will also need to factor in transportation time in going from your resort to MK.

I'm planning on going 10/12!!!!! Do you think that since it's a Friday I should buy my ticket tomorrow even though I'm not booking my actual trip until later (it's a money thing)? I don't want to risk it being sold out.

Is 9/28 or 9/30 better, we have ADR's @ Crsytal Palace on 10/1 @ 8:05am so I don't know if the kids will be able to get up so early! But I don't want to go to a party that is SO packed!!

Just got off the phone to AKL concierge planning (Don) and we now have everything in place so that they can buy my tickets tomorrow for our MNSSHP on October 4. All of our ADRs are in place; including LTT that night. Now all that is left to do is wait and try not to go crazy with excitement.

On top of this trip, two weeks later I (Tony) will be going to Israel/Egypt for two weeks. I am so excited I am beside myself.
