No regular wishes on MNSSHP nights...it's too light outside by the time the park closes to the general public to show it anyway.

There IS a special fireworks show called "Happy HalloWishes" that takes place during the party.

Just wondering - Do they show regular Wishes the nights that does not have a MNSSHP? Or is it the same thing (we'll be there mid-October).

We are going on Oct 23, and just made reservations for Kona Cafe for 5:00pm, this is our first MNSSHP!!! Can't wait to go!!!

Basically they are charging more for the more popular nights; Fridays and Halloween.

They did something similar last year with MVMCP. Charged extra for Fridays.

Anyway they can make more money I guess.

Anyone want to guess why they didn't charge more for September 14? Its a Friday night too. I wonder will everything be up and running the first night?

We will be at parties on the 14th, 16th & 18th. We will be in costume on the 14th & 18th.

Can't wait!

What party will you be at?

Yeah! We're going to the party on the 18th and we'd love to see your amazing costumes in person. I hope we see you, I'm sure you will be hard to miss.

Does anyone know when you order the tickets using the DVC or AP discount and have to pick them up at willcall, what kind of ticket you get? I read some where that the ticket they send you in the mail when you order them were pretty cool keepsakes with a nice design, but the tickets you picked up at willcall were just plain old tickets. Not a huge deal, just wondering.

I am very excited they announced the dates ... I can't wait for our trip!!!

How quickly do the AP/DVC discounted tickets sell out? I won't be able to purchase them until I have my AP voucher sent to me... or can I purchase them at the same time I buy my AP?

TIA :goodvibes

Has anyone heard of a group discount for those purchasing over 10 tickets?

Here are the dates from Disney's site;

You will see that October 30th and 31st are on the same line. And November 2nd is listed...not November 1st.

I've also provided a link to the MNSSHP. Scroll down a bit and you will see the dates listed.

MNSSHP Page

You are quite right they do appear as the dates you have copied, but on the UK site they appear as the dates I have said!

No worries. Nothing sold out till at least September last year. Usually, only Friday's and the last party sell out.

If you want the discount, you must buy them before the day of the party. They will need to see the AP when you pick them up.

So you can order them now. Tell them you have the AP. They will tell you to pick them up at Will Call and show your AP to confirm the discount.

Hi All. I'm still wonering about crowd levels and how long the lines are at the rides during MNSSHP. Any veterans able to fill us in? We are going either the 8th or the 11th. Would either of these dates be better than the other one?

Thanks :cool1:

We've been the last few years, never on Halloween. The lines are never as big as they are during the day. There are still some waits for the big rides, like Space Mountain. But I think the maximum wait I ever saw was 30 minutes. The candy lines go fast, so there's no worry if you see a line there. As the night gets later, the lines get shorter. We've managed to run on a bunch of rides within the last hour of the party.

Thanks for the reply beattyfamily! I wasn't planning on buying my AP until closer to my trip date so the will call option will work out nicely for me.

I can't wait until we can get our tickets! It will be exciting to see how many of us will be going on the same day!

That may have been my post that you read.

Last year we got AP discount tickets for MNSSHP and picked them up at our hotel (BC). They were not the cool keepsake tickets, but just plain room key type tickets. The same thing happened when we ordered tickets for MVMCP and picked them up at OKW.

The year before, we ordered and had them sent by mail and they were special keepsake type tickets.

So how busy will the phones be on May 1? With Xmas party tix, and P&P tix, and MNSSHP tix all going on sale the same day, are the phone lines going to be packed? Any reason you have to call that day? Do the tickets ever sell out in the first few days?

It will be crazy the first few hours for those who just have to have them ASAP. ;) But no, nothing will sell out this early. It takes months. Last year nothing sold out till at least Sept.

First I'd like to say that veterans at this might know better than myself, but I have a suggestion. If you're going to WDW with more than 8 people have you been in contact with any cm's that handle the magical gatherings? Usually when you have a large party like that, you get assigned a cm that handles your trip planning with you. This set-up can *sometimes* result in discounts, free magical gathering cruises (sorta like the little cruises to see fireworks), and much more! So, if I was you, that would be my first step. If you call the 407-# I believe there's a prompt for how many people, or something like push this # for you have more than 8 in your party. Again, more people who know Disney might know better than me, and there might be some black out dates for this, I'm not positive. It's only knowledge I've heard from others while we were in WDW.

We're DVC members & we'll be taking some friends w/ on our October trip.

Can we buy MNSSHHP w/our DVC rate? Does it make a difference whether the ressies are linked? Is it a limit? There are 4 in our family & 4 in theirs. Can we buy 8 w/ our DVC discount?

Thanks!

from the first page....
"DVC Members can purchase for themselves and up to 5 Guests."

It's getting exciting.
Trish
