Cool! Thanks for posting the dates! I guess shouldn't have put off ordering my AP :rotfl:

I'm new to this MNSSHP thing so please forgive me. Do I need to buy the party ticket in addition to the park ticket or can I just do the party?

Thanks!
You can just buy the party ticket. It will gain you entry to the Magic Kingdom at 4pm that day without the need for a day ticket. But NO earlier than 4pm. If you want to be at MK prior to that, you will need a park ticket.

My questions are: DO you use one day of your MYW pass and then buy the MNSSHP tickets to be able to stay after 7pm and see all the special stuff?

So, we could also spend the day at Disney Quest and then just do the MNSSHP?

If you go just for the party, can you not go in until 7pm?

When you order your ticket online, do you have to tell them the date you are going?

Do they only have a certain number of tickets or only allow a certain number in for the party?

You don't need to use a day ticket in order to attend the party, you just need the party ticket. The party ticket will gain you park entry at 4pm, no earlier, without the use of a day ticket. Any earlier than that, and you will need to use a day off your MYW tickets.

That's correct.

You can get in at 4pm, no earlier, without the use of a day ticket.

Yes you do. Each date will have a link to buy tickets. You need to click that link to buy that specific date's tickets. Tickets to the event are limited and some dates do sell out, which is why you can't buy a ticket and have it be used for any date you want.

Do they only have a certain number of tickets or only allow a certain number in for the party?
I don't believe there is a limit as to how many tickets you can purchase. They're not going to leave you hanging by only allowing 4 tickets and you have 5 people in your party, for example.

Will there be a special site to order these on or can I order them right off the disney site?

TIA!

Ok, right now we are planning on going on a Friday in the middle of October. We were considering going to the Mickey's BBQ and haunted hayride on a Thursday because that was the only day that worked on our schedule. I believe it is the 11th and 12th. Are the Fridays that much busier than Thursdays or are they pretty comparable? We would like to do both but if it makes a major difference we might consider not going to the BBQ and instead going to the MNSSHP on Thursday night.

Thanks

Please help me out here. We have a broad age-range group: Parents (yeah, like I'm going to admit to ages), plus kids 18g, 16b, 14g, 12b, and 8b. Is this an event that is going to hold everybody's interest?

Many thanks!

I went to MNSSHP back in 2000 and it had a few things that I'm not seeing mentioned anymore. If you went to frontierland there were three stands set up, one had balloon animals or something, but another stand was my favorite where we had our palms read, and sorry I can't recall the third either (we only did the palm reading). Does anyone know if they still do this, and if you remember what I'm talking about, I'd love to know what the other two things were. Thanks! :cool1:

The kids might like it for the simple fact that the ride lines used to be super short. However, this used to be the case for the MVMChristmas party, but we went last year and it was packed. I've since seen ppl complain of this because one of the big perks was supposed to be limited tix sold. I can't testify if the MNSSHP is the same too nowadays, or if the party is the way it was in 2001 when we were able to jump right onto rides over and over again. The only sweet thing for kids that age is the amount of candy, and I'm not talking about cheap pieces of candy. These were the two things that my teen liked about it in 2001

I've looked on WDW own site and 2nd Nov is not listed, 1st Nov is though. I've just noticed they've omitted 31st October though. What are Disney playing at?

Why are the Advance ticket savings restricted on certain nights? Is this new or have I just not noticed in the past because it didn't affect any of the parties I attended.:confused3

Basically they are charging more for the more popular nights; Fridays and Halloween.

They did something similar last year with MVMCP. Charged extra for Fridays.

Anyway they can make more money I guess.

I guess so.... the Fridays, some Thursdays and even Wednesday (but one makes sense to me:goodvibes )

Yeah, the 18th and the 25th are Thursdays...so that is new this year; to charge extra but I'm not surprised really. They must think those two nights are popular.

The Wednesday one is a given, it's Halloween. They've charged extra for Halloween night the past couple of years.

Hoping we'll have a good time at the Crystal Palace for dinner the night we're going Oct. 23. LTT didn't have any ADR's left for that night.
It'll be 4 adults and my 6 year old son.

Anyone ever done CP instead of LTT for MNSSHP?

We have dinner reservations at the Grand Floridian at 5pm. I assume that I will be at Magic Kingdom by 6:30. Since I will have 8 day park hopper tickets is there still a need to be at the park at 4pm? The activities don't start until 7 pm, correct? If you can't tell this will be our first party on Sept. 28th and I want to make sure I do things right. I will have my husband and a two year old and a seven year old with me. Thanks! :goodvibes

There's no special reason to get to the park at 4:00p. That is just usually when you can start entering with just your party ticket and not have to use a day pass.

I usually get there around 5:00p and eat a nice sit down meal and I'm usually done by 6:30p - 6:45p just in time for the party.
