Costume update...we are there on the 17th....

DD#1 will be Tinkerbell, and DH will be Peter Pan.
DD#2 will be Snow White, and I will be the Evil Queen/witch (likely just with a black cloth over my head and carrying a shiny red apple).

DD 7 as the red queen
2 nieces (8 &11) as Malificent and Cruella DeVil

Post #2 is UPDATED! We are SOOOOO close to the first party - Can't wait to hear back from partygoers!!!

I'm going with my mom on Oct 25. We aren't dressing up, but we will probably have on Halloween shirts. We can't wait!!!!!

depending on projected evening temperatures, we may just leave costumes (me-minnie mouse, DH capt jack & DS Moe from the Simpsons) @ home...one time too many sweltering past parties.

We have a group of 13 for September 21!!! This is our 4th time attending MNSSHP and it is our favorite special event! The 4 little boys are pirates and the 2 little girls are still deciding which princess to be (indecisive to the last moment!) We can't wait!

Party of six (4 adults and 2 kids) we'll be there on the 7th too. Not doing costumes just matching t-shirts boys will be Jack and girls have shirts with Sally & Jack. It's the a surprise trip for my niece and nephew their turning 10 on the 5th and its there first time to Disney. They won't know they are going till the morning of the 4th just before we leave - can't believe we have been able to keep it a secret!

We are going on the 21st of Sept. Dh and I, 3 kids and my mama. My littles will be Tinker Bell(5), Indiana Jones(7) and a bottle of rootbeer(20 mos). LOL

Just bought tickets last night for me and my boyfriend for October 3!

It's during our University's Fall Break.

It was pretty spur-the-moment. But we both met at Disney last Fall working as MK Custodians for the College Program... and we always had nice bonding moments during the MNSSHP's before we were actually dating. So the Boo to You Parade and Hallowishes were some high points in our life together. I just started to get really depressed thinking of this year and how I might not get to go to one... and I decided, what's a 10-hour drive? Potentially with some cheap-or-free park tickets from one of our still-cast-member friends? Sounds like a plan to me. I've been going through withdrawals.

I can't believe I'm really going to be back so soon. We are probably both going to start crying as soon as we walk through the train station and see Cinderella Castle. Oh gosh. I'm fantasizing now. Hopefully we will have enough money or enough friends by the time we go to also get 4 days of tickets, so we can spend a day in each park. Because I also get frequent urges to ride ToT, Spaceship Earth, and Expedition Everest.

We're going October 26th (me & DH). Tickets are purchased, but waiting at will call so I don't have the chance to lose them between now and then.

My bday is the 27th, so I figured a great way to start my bday was the end of the party.

We were at the Halloween party last night (first night of the party). IT WAS WONDERFUL. We were there from 4pm until midnight. We rode the rides until the party started at 7pm.

DF just got our tickets in the mail today for October 1st! It will be DS4, DF, and me - I'm dressing up as Sally from Nightmare Before Christmas. I'm so excited, this is my first MNSSHP!

Hi All!
Fairly new to the DIS boards, but have been using the forums to plan 1st ever Disney Cruise in celebration of my DM's 60th birthday!

Our flight home is a full 32 hours after we have to disembark the ship, so I thought why waste a full day hanging out at an airport hotel when the WDW resorts are a Magical Express away? So I booked CSR for the night. Of course, I didn't tell DM this. Seemed like a nice surprise.

So then I thought, hmmm, since we're already going to be on property, and I've always wanted to go... why not go to MNSSHP??!! So I bought tickets for the October 28 party! Of course, I didn't tell DM this. Seemed like a nice surprise.

So we'll be at MK promptly at 4 p.m. I as Belle (in blue dress), DM as a Mouseketeer (though she doesn't know it yet).
