Does anyone know what Disney considers "advance purchased"? Is it the day before, week before, month before? I'd like to wait & buy my tickets when we get down there in Oct. I have a few dates over the week we'll be there that we can go to the party. I'd hate to buy tickets way ahead of time only to have it pour down rain on that day. I'd rather see what the weather will be like for that week & then pick a day to go. But not sure that's an option with advanced tickets & especially with DVC discounted tickets. Any info. would be appreciated. TIA.

Looks like there are a lot of mom-daughter trips happening So excited I finally bought our MNSSHP tickets yesterday!

I just ordered our 9/14 MNSSHP tickets ....so excited about it I can hardly stand it. The girls have no idea that we are going (one DD doesn't even know about the trip while the other DD knows very little about the trip, trying to keep as much a secret as possible). I was able to do it online and chose to have them sent to our house (DH likes to have them in hand when we go) for $5 more. Now the next step is deciding whether or not to do APs this year or just do the 10 day non-expire ticket again.

Ticket bought for Oct 21st.....just have to hope DS doesnt grow too much before then and can still fit his Ghost Buster outfit..WHO YE GONNA CALL !!

Got Tix for Oct. 17th, the DVC discount is a very nice perk as well. This is our 1st time and my DD's can't wait and have no idea what costume they want to wear. See ya there

I've purchased tickets for Halloween night. Cannot wait for my two DD's to trick-or-treat around the Magic Kingdom. Of course DW and myself will be doing the same. You can never have too much candy....right?

I have tickets in hand! They came by Fedex on Monday. They look like Disney gift cards so the kids have already picked out which ones are "theirs"


Costumes are decided. The boys are wearing their soccer gear and going as soccer players, husband is wearing a referree's uniform and dd and I are being cheerleaders!

I am pretty new to the board here. My family is going in October from the 23rd through Nov. 2nd at All Star Music. We are flying in from Oklahoma. It will be my tenth trip, my 2-yr-old's third and husband's second, and our whole extended family, mom, dad, brother and his wife and toddler, will be there. I am really looking forward to it as our last two trips were six-days whirlwinds! We are going the the MNSSHP on Halloween. Is anyone going to try to meet up at that? What are you guys wearing? I looked up video from that party and it's elbow to elbow so I am thinking about wearing something not too cumbersome. Who has been before? I've been to the Xmas Party in Dec. but never this event. What's it like everyone? Cheers!

i am going on september 25 and september 30th! i cant wait! this is my third year in a row - i just love this party!

We'll be there on October 31st! We've taken my son the last 2 years, but this is the first year we'll actually be there ON Halloween! Super Excited! He's 4, so I'm sure he'll be Woody or Buzz AGAIN!
