Random question - but what do people wear to MVMCP? Do they go all out in holiday wear? I read somewhere about kids wearing PJ's?

It depends on the person. I've seen people wear nothing special, and I've seen people (Okay, WE are those people, but we are not alone!) wear over the top Christmassy stuff - Christmas headband's with bobble head type decorations, Christmas patterned fabric shirts/skirts, blinking light necklaces, etc.

Really, you'll be fine no matter what you wear.

Why is there no party on Tuesday, December 20th? The last party is December 22nd and, except for Thanksgiving week, they are on every other Tuesday.

Mickey's Once Upon a Christmastime Parade at 8:30pm and 11pm
Mickey's Most Merriest Celebration Stage Show at 7:40pm, 9:25pm, 10:30pm and 11pm

The parades are listed as 8.30 and 11pm on our party day...the second one seems late based on what I read about last years times...does the 11pm parade sound the right time for the second parade?

Yes, they've changed some of the times. For those of us who like to go to the 2nd parade, it means it should be even a little less crowded...

The only bad thing about the late 2nd parade is there is not really time to do anything else, especially if you watch from main street. If it what you plan on doing last, then it works great.

We love Christmas so we'll be all decked out. Wear what you feel comfortable with!

@CampbellzSoup has the list of characters on the first post. Mickey, Minnie in holiday attire, some characters will just have a scarf and hat and some princesses will be out in their winter clothes

That is doable, especially if the party is run like mnsshp has been. You'll need to check back here after the first mvmcp to see how things happen during the first few parties.

However, if it is like mnsshp, this is what you do.

Line up for jack skellington as close to 4 as possible. If it's like mnsshp, he'll come out at 5. If you're one of the first groups hightail it to the dwarves and you should be good to meet them, assuming they come out around 6ish. Once done with them, go immediately to Scrooge's line, which should start to grow around 6:45. If everything has gone well, you'll meet him within 15 minutes of Official party start.

See Mickey during the first parade, he shouldn't have a line at that time. Meet Santa goofy whenever, then line up for the second parade half an hour before it you want frontier land, 45 minutes of you want the snow and decorations of main Street.

Now again, check back here to see how they handle jack and the dwarves during the first party just to be sure.

Funny you say that, just 5 minutes ago I felt a wave of sadness come over me for no reason, and I realized it was because my trip is only 2 weeks away.......which means in 3 weeks it will all be over.

This is ouir first stay at POP, I am super excited about it.

This is our 4th stay at Pop...we LOVE it! I hope you enjoy it too and have an amazing trip!

I just got my MVMCP comp ticket... I can go on either the 8th or 15th (taking my work schedule into account). Probably won't pick a date until the day before, lol.

Actually, they don't typically have a party later than December 18th.

Is there a limit to how many party tickets can be purchased with the AP discount? I didn't really think about this until after I purchased 6 tickets with my AP discount last week. The tickets were emailed to me and are all linked to MagicBands in my MDE account, so it doesn't seem like there is any issue. This is my first time to use the AP for ticket discounts, so I'm just curious. Anyone have experience with this?

Does anyone remember if the castle projection show (Celebrate the Magic/new Once Upon A Time) is different during the party? I just saw the blog about the new show starting Nov. 4, and the only night we're at MK is our MVMCP night. Just wondering if we'll get to see the new show or not.

My son loves Prince Phillip and I plan to Disneybound as Briar Rose and my son has a Prince Phillip costume shirt. Would be so fun to get a picture with them!

Have Aurora and Phillip been there consistently over the years?
Is it a separate line for each couple?

No it was the same one last year so we should get the new show. Hopefully with a holiday ending too!

For some reason the new projection show, OUAT, is not showing up on the schedule during MVMCP. I'm going to assume it'll be shown but I wouldn't bet on that just yet.
