My hubby and I are attending the 11/19 party. It's our first time being at WDW during Christmas!

I read the map is usually released a week before the first party, so I would hope/think around then as well. We are going 12/10 and can't wait! So far I haven't seen any character lists but if I do I will let you know! This is our first party!

Don't take that as gospel haha but from everything I've seen in my research it seems to be when it's released. We are only two, me and my boyfriend but I'm a huge planner as well. I've already warned him we're getting in line at like 5:15 for the Dwarfs, luckily he doesn't mind. We bought Ellen Degeneres' Heads Up game last trip and it was worth the $0.99! It kills time like no other and gets everyone in line involved usually, and calms screaming littles. I'm eagerly awaiting our Candlelight Processional narrator for 10/9, as that's our first time seeing that too. We wanted to see Neil Patrick Harris the week before, but we found MUCH better deals on flights for the next week, so the next it is!

Oh wow thank you! The few days I stopped checking, it was updated! I really like her so that's pretty cool. Now to remember my hand and foot warmers in case it's icy cold!

I'm going to the first party, but it's our last day there, so it looks like, most of the day we're going to be going in blind. I'll have to keep an eye out online when we're at the hotel, but I feel like I have the Halloween party all planned but this one is going in blind!

I'm sorry all if I haven't updated the list I've been super busy at work and then vacation it's just too much next time I have a solid two days off in going to dig in and finish this and my backlog of stuff

Does anyone have a guess if the Thursday, November 19th party will be a sell out? We're debating adding it as a 2nd night and might want to add it last minute. If we do, can we just walk up and purchase tickets?

I know we're allowed to go in at 4pm on the party day but what time do you think we should get to the gates? Is there usually a long line to get in? We have a FP+ from 3:30-4:30 and we don't want to miss that.

Now that day is the final day of parade taping. so my question: will the parade taping affect the party on the 12th? would anyone decide against the party at this point?

Parade taping is usually done in the morning. Will not affect the party at all.

Fast passes are not used during the official party time that begins at 7pm. You can use fast passes at the MK prior to 7pm.

You can't FP+ special party characters (if that's what you're asking?) You can make FP+ for rides & normal characters up until 6:30pm. WDW isn't allowing any FP+ after 6:30pm on party nights. You can enter MK at 4pm so you have between then and 6:30pm for FP+.
