hhmmm... our store doesn't carry the mickey heads..the paint swatches are simply squares. i haven't made a lime green mickey yet.. i hope some people post images here so i can get ideas.

I know this probably sounds silly, but how did you laminate them ? I've never laminated before & I'm thinking about doing it !

I got everything at Wal-Mart As much as I hate shopping there, they DO have everything
I'm actually making some more on Monday and am mailing that afternoon. I'm sure they'd make it to you before you leave.

At Wal-mart they have self laminating little doo-dads (sorry...I'm not sure of the exact name LOL!) They were by the office products. I just got the little ones.

I bought laminating paper from Michaels, but I'm sure they have it at Wal Mart. It's clear and sticky on one side. I didn't use the actual machine, just the paper.. The only deal with using that is that it doesn't "seal" the edges. But it worked fine for my LGMHs!

Since we're posting pics of our LGMHs here's me being creative tonight...

I had buttons that were a hot pink, but I painted them dark green and added silver glitter. I'm still waiting for the paint to dry so I haven't glued them onto the actual LGMH head.. But I will tomorrow.

With my LGMH I just soaked it in a bowl of water for about 2 minutes until the paper backing came off. I glued 2 back to back and used the laminating paper and cut around it and punched a hole...

Sorry the picture is kind of lame, I used my camera phone..

Thanks Jazz! It was the most creative I could get using what I already had... I think I'm going to make another one and put glitter in between the clear sticky paper.. Hmmm, we'll see...
