Thanks!

I am sorry I answered crazily! That answer was for my battery draining..I DO have data but I don't know if you use data using that APP..

You did not answer crazily - I understood what you meant!

Well I did it (My interview). I'm supposed to hear from them by the end of the week.

Not that confident in getting it. I think he was surprised by how young I look. I have a lot of experience for someone my age. We'll see.

Looking young is a good thing, but I know what you mean when it comes to job interviews. I "used to" have a similar problem. Hopefully, he thought you were wonderful in spite of looking young!

OK, I feel like I need a "Disboards 101" class! How do you add a link to another thread into your signature? Thanks guys!!

One month from right now, we will be about to enjoy some antics at Whispering Canyon Cafe!!! I hope they are in full force, we love that kind of stuff!! ;)

I have to say that Cassi is AMAZING! She is fabulous to work with, does gorgeous work, and we are on our second set of tie-dye Mickey shirts from her. DEFINITELY have her make some for you, you will love them!

I think this is why my husband gets 'annoyed' with my DISing. It makes me spend money :rotfl: (He doesn't really get annoyed, but says 'whatcha doing? let me guess, DIS? :rotfl:')

I was wondering if anyone had booked a Wishes cruise for any of the nights of July 5 through the 10th? Sometimes people book and take on others to defray the cost. I'm looking on the Wishes Share a Cruise thread (or at least I think I have the right thread). But so far no luck. Thought I would try our own little group.

Side note: Our 15 yo DD (youngest) got her first babysitting job today. Neighbors 2 doors down are going to have their 6 year old grandson for a week and need someone to watch him during the day. She will be there from 7 am to 2:30 pm every day for 3 days. She had to turn down the last day because that is when we leave for Florida. Should be a nice little amount of spending money for her. She's smiling from ear to ear.

Can't help with the Wishes cruise, but YAY for your DD! She must be so excited and you must be very proud! :lovestruc

We are getting very excited! Even though we've been to WDW many times (not as many as others) we act as if it's our first time. Love planning and love these boards!!!

Congrats to your DD! We are already doing a Wishes cruise on the 3rd, but hopefully you will find someone else here.

I think planning is as much fun as being there!

Mine came in today too! I can't wait!

Every trip I say that I am going to pack super early, so that the day before I leave is calm and relaxing. Without fail, I wait until after dinner the night before I leave to start! I am such a procrastinator! :lmao:

Ok let's talk rain.

I know to expect rain everyday for anywhere from 20 min to 3 hours. But for all you experienced July DISers, around what time does the rain usually come?

We usually wear tennis shoes, and I'm thinking about carrying around one of those drawstring type backpacks with our flip flops inside so we can change before the Tennis Shoes get wet.

What does everyone do about the shoe situation?

Does anyone know anything about the Rock 'n' Glow Dance Party in DHS?? I saw it listed.. is this a hard ticket party?

I think it's just a dance party near the hat, from what I've heard. Mulch Sweat and Sheers is supposedly playing at it. And it's not on Monday or Wednesday nights...the only 2 nights I have in my itinerary that I could go to DHS! Of course! I don't think it's anything major. Probably just music and characters dancing, where the kids can join in.

I have to wear sneakers because I have bad feet - that said, it is only rarely that my shoes have gotten completely soaked. Several pages back I explained a great solution though - if you sneakers get soaked - stuff them tightly with newspaper over night. By the next morning, they will be completely dry. This happened to us over spring break - my Nikes were drenched but with the newpaper completely dry the next morning.

I think it is a nightly event with Summer Nightastic and included with park admission.

Okay, yeah, great idea EXCEPT - unless you just proactively change your shoes at lunch time, which is generally before a rain, it will never work. It comes down so fast most times that your shoes would be soaked before you get the backpack off your shoulders.

Last July while we were there, the rain was horrible! IMO.

I wore tennis shoes the whole time...we just let them dry over night. (the rain was so bad though that we left the park and went back to our room until night time )

A cousin of mine went w/us and wore flip flops on one of the days that it just poured....once they were wet, she was unable to keep them on to walk in..too slippery.

We got our DME info yesterday too! Except that it is wrong and I need to call and fix it! My DH is flying in/out on different dates and they have him listed with us coming in and then they have nothing listed for any of our departures. I had spent a lot of time on the phone with the guy setting it all up too :confused3 Oh well, just another reason to call Disney!! :rotfl2:

I am having serious doubts about AKL. I look at the pictures and it just doesn't excite me. My DH suggested we switch to POFQ as he has always wanted to stay there, but seems as it has 2 double beds, I nixed that one. I have been thinking about CSR though as they have 2 queens. On the other hand, this is the absolute last time we will have the opportunity to stay at AKL without renting a villa, and given that choice, I know we would book BLT over AKL. I would feel better knowing we at least had club level at AKL (we would get value out of the BF's and snacks) and it pains me that we are paying almost the exact same for a savannah bunkbed view without the benefit of the club level amenities. Okay, had to get that off my chest! am such a resort flip flopper!!
