We went to Kohl's today to buy new luggage. Now that the kids are getting a little bigger they can't share one little suitcase anymore and since we are staying in Disney for 10 days instead of 5 this year, we need more space! I was so happy to get a 5 piece luggage set regulary 179.00 on sale for 79.99. Then we had a $20 Kohl's cash left over and a 30% coupon so we got the whole set for $37.00 after tax. Yippee!!!! I am so excited to start packing. We still have 36 more days before we leave but I just want to start packing now. Would that be nuts???

I didn't realize they were opening at 7:00! I got there at 8:30 and they were completely sold out. Luckily a person who worked there scrounged up a few she found lying around random parts of the store and I got 2 plain white ones. I'm going to use them to iron on these really cute designer Mickey head patterns I found on the Creative DISigns board. If they don't work out great, oh well, the tanks were only $2

I normally start packing a month before too. But I might be going to New York for a few days before. So I don't know what suitcase I'll be using and so on. I'll probably know by the end of next week.

That's my 'issue' too. My family is coming down from PA and we're going to spend a week at a beach house between now and our Disney trip, so I can't really 'pack' anything yet because I have to pack for that trip first. Of course I want to take my new suitcase that I got the GREAT deal on for both trips

Yes, I know! I was planning on going but decided against it. Everyone I heard from said it was crazy and one person said their store had sold out. So I went to the shopping center that Old Navy is in because I needed to go to AC Moore and it was NUTS! Some B actually HIT my car!! She didn't even stop! I pulled around to try to find her but I couldn't. Luckily, there is no visible damage so or else I would have been on a hunt!!

People are crazy for a good sale!

I just started packing our food/snacks for the drive down and while at Disney...put all "potential" clothes in a large laundry collapsible bag so no one wears them and gets them dirty between now and 28 days.

I think the commercials I've seen said July 8. So excited! Except when I switched my cable, I no longer subscribed to Showtime so I won't have the 3 extra hours a night to watch! 3 weeks of school left til the hols!

then in 4 weeks' time we'll be in the airport hotel in Manchester attempting to try and get some sleep before we fly out to sunny Florida!!!

well - i just finished making all our hotel reservations for the drive down.

last year i lost my wallet and all my credit cards on the first day we arrived and we only had 1 of dh's with us which had to use for everything including our cruse and hotels on the way back.

i ended up getting my wallet and everything back 4 or 5 days later but i had already cancelled all my cards.

our last night driving home we had run out of room on dh's card and were searching for change to get to be able to pay for a room because we just coulnd't drive through the night.

we knew how much we had left to pay for tolls and gas (thanks to writing everything down on our trip down so we knew exactly how much we had left.

this year i've already put envelopes aside with the total amount for every hotel we'll be staying in.

what a horrible feeling to know you've run out of money and are still about a 9 hour drive away from home.
