Hi ! Also going for the first time in July. Done June several times but never this far into the summer. We're staying at Bay Lake Towers (DVC members). We're there from July 7 - 11th but I'm seriously considering coming in on the 3rd and making a full week out of it.

We have two teenager girls (17 and 15). We're excited to get back to the mouse and will keep this trip slow and easy.

Hi all, I'm new to the boards. Just discovered them a few days ago and I'm shocked at how much I didn't know about Disney despite the fact that I've been there many times! Never knew you could get as much as 40% off!

Anyway, we are going July 3-10 and staying at POP. This is the first time we're staying on property so we're looking forward to it. I think the kids will LOVE it (I'm excited too!).

Slow and easy? Is that possible in July?! Just kidding! We are actually planning "slow and easy" times in our trip as much as possible so we don't get caught up in the crazy crowds too often!

Our trip at BWV overlaps with yours for about a week! I noticed in the list on page 92. It's our home resort as DVC members, but this is our first trip as DVC members so it is a new resort for us too! They finished the refurbishment a few months ago so everything is new and I hear the rooms are awesome!!!!

We'll be in a 1-bedroom standard view. How about you?

We got a 1 bedroom standard view, too but then requested, pool-side, 1st floor, odd number room. We'll be there with my parents and sister's family, too (they are in studios). I know requests are not guaranteed but that's what my parents wanted (they went to BWV last May and loved it).

I always put a Disney sign on our front door with a place for comment cards -- so if you see it, knock and say hi or at least leave a nice comment! It's fun to read where people are from and almost everyone has something nice to say.

Welcome! I added you to the list on page 92 - but where are you staying?
As for your signature - your current signature may be too long - all your prior stays are vertical - try listing them horizontally and then maybe the ticker will fit. I had the same problem. I gave up and took out my prior stays. I know I see some signatures with a ton of stuff but I could never get that to work. Maybe someone else will have better advice!

Welcome! I have added you to the list on page 92 - I am a Wendy too!! Take advantage of the indoor air conditioned attractions to get out of the heat. Things like One Man's Dream at DHS, and the Hall of President's at MK. Do these during the heat of the day. If you can go back to the resort for a break for awhile it helps too. Plan on drinking LOTS of water.

Yes, we are really looking forward to hearing that very first "Welcome Home" when we get to BWV! What a cute idea that you put a sign on your door for comments...if I see I'll be sure to write something!

I requested a room across from the bus stop on the top floor but I am not expecting anything because from what I hear, at BWV they pre-assign rooms a few days in advance, which makes it different from the other DVC resorts. Either way, we'll be at Disney so we will have a great time! The reason we requested that particular location is because after asking on the DVC boards, people told me that was a great location for a standard view because you can see some of the higher Epcot fireworks from the balcony. Worse comes to worse, if we can't see it from our room, we can go outside to view some!

I think you can only have a certain number of lines. My list of previous trips is like yours and I had to make my font wayyy smaller so that my ticker would show up. Try that and see if it works. If not, you might be using one of the sites that doesn't work with the DIS.

Ummm, I'm really not sure about the mousekeeping graphic. I think I got it from themouseforless back in 2006. BUT I formatted it a little bit and then just saved it as a document to my computer. I've seen lots of other graphics on other sites. Can't think of the names right now but I'm sure you can find them!
