is it too much to hope and wish for cool cloudy weather my week

The last time we went in July (2005) we had a surprisingly cooler week. We were all praying (seriously!) for a little relief b/c my parents were going with us and my mom esp can't take the heat. Well, it worked. It was still warm but not overwhelmingly so.

This year, we're going with my parents again, so the prayer chain has started over again!

Anyone up for a little meet on July 19 at the MK?

We'll be in MK July 19th in the evening. We have an early ressie for Crystal Palace (4pm-ish) and then will do some rides and shows until the parade and fireworks. We're pretty flexible after our meal.

I am so excited! This is our first trip to Disney! We are booked at CBR for July 4-9th!! I have 2 boys ages 17 & 18! I have a million questions and feel like I have been living on these boards! Today I bought 2 gifts cards to be sent to the boys for Disney. I want them to be as excited as we are but with thier ages, I think they are afraid to show it!! We land at 11:20 am and I have made 3:45 dinner reservations for Hollywood & Vine, did I leave enough time!!
Anyway, I am hoping some of you will be there at the same time as me!!
Can anyone show me how to get one of those cute countdowns?

Welcome to the boards and this thread!! Feel free to post your plans and ask any questions you want! We will be happy to help the best we can.

If you land on time, you should be at your resort by 12:30 depending on when your ME bus leaves and how many stops before your resort. I think that leaves you plenty of time to check-in, drop your bags with bell services (if your room isn't ready) and hop on a bus to DHS.

And I will be there same time as you! July 1-8. There is a list a few pages back of both "who's going and when" AND ADRs!

Yes! I called the other day. Just 407-WDW-DINE.

It was something like $27 for adults, not sure the children's price. I did a search for some reviews and saw some pics before I booked. There was a thread about it tonight on the restaurant board and someone posted some pics. The only thing that I'm disappointed about is that committing to this means we'll have to skip the Main Street Electrical Parade that night...

We booked the Wishes Dessert Party for the 8th too! No one's birthday - but a surprise to our son. Wanted to do something special to celebrate his straight A's in school this year and qualifying for Nationals. If it wasn't for Nationals we wouldn't be taking this trip!!!

Welcome! I have added you to the list on page 92. DHS is very close to CBR, so you should make your ADR in plenty of time. As for the countdowns - if you see one you like, click on it and it will take you to the page where you can make one - just follow the directions. You might want to look at a few different pages, there are a lot of really cute ones!

That dessert buffet looks wonderful! I really wanted to go but with 2 small kids, we'll wait until they are older.
