I wear sneakers and Crocs at WDW. Although I love my Crocs and live in them daily, they do get slippery, too, on tile floor or smooth surfaces. So I did buy some Trekker shoes from Land's End that I've been trying to break in. I may take them too.

So today my DD4 and I started planning our clothes for each day and packing them in the suitcases. Then I realized that my daughters could really use another top so off we went to the Gymboree outlet. I was so happy to find they have exactly what I wanted in the right sizes.

So now our color scheme is hot pink , lime green and bright yellow! If you all see a tall family "generally" dressed in these colors -- say hello!

Thanks so much PopArt! My TA just called and apologized for not putting my flight info into the Disney system. She is doing so right now but who knows if I'll get those tags in time. I'll do what you adivised.
We're hanging out at the resort the first day and swimming so I'll make sure to put suits and stuff for that in carry on!

Glad to ease your mind. I've done it before and our luggage got to us with no problem.

We added MK Dessert Party for 7/19 (we wanted 7/18, but it's totally booked )
- in line with that, I'm a little annoyed that we're paying 'peak' prices when it's value season for our resort and we went the same time last year and didn't pay peak prices for the DP

Welcome to the newcomers!! I went to bed soooo early last night, like 7:00, and missed so much on this thread!!

Anyway, just wanted to say that my shirts should be arriving today and I just pre-ordered my photpass cd!! It's expensive but there's always one or two pics I want to get and it's like $15 just for 1 picture! I thought I'd pre-order last year for the honeymoon and it was soooo worth it, I decided to do it again. Especially since I have this image of a photopass photographer taking a picture of me and Ben Franklin (who I have imagined will be in Epcot on the 4th) and I NEED that picture!!

I was just checking out the park hours as I haven't done that in awhile, and the hours for HS looks funky for the last week of July! On a couple of nights, the park closes at 7 pm, but the Dance Party is listed for 9 pm?! I was hoping that they would be adding fantasmics this week, in all the times we have gone to WDW we have never seen it. They did add hours to AK though, so we will probably go over there one night to see it in the dark! I am sooo stinking excited for this trip, I just can't wait!!

I printed my own copies from the cd. BUT I made a mistake. They are formatted for 5x7 pictures and when you edit them for your cd, you have to change each one to 4x6 or else they will be cut off a little...most of my pics with borders were all messed up! You can also pre-order the digital book from photopass, which we also did last year and that was really cool. But once you get the cd, you now own the pics so you can do whatever you want with them. I'm sure you can make a book for much cheaper at CVS.

I would NOT use this as a replacement for my own camera!! There were definitely a lot of photopass photogs out last July but we take pictures of everything!

It was perfect for our honeymoon because it's not always easy to get a picture of both of us! That's why, when we see a couple, we always ask if they would like us to take a picture of them both!

we do the photopasss every year., but we still use our own camera since the photopass people are not in restaurants or near certain photo ops

They are formatted for 5x7. I use winkflash to order my pics after I get the cd since disney gives you the rights. It is much cheaper and my photos came out great and i was able to order the ones i added borders too as 5x7 for very cheap.
You can make photobooks on it too but disneys are nicer the calendars are very cute too

I know, I know, kind of last minute but boy am I glad I waited. I have been checking SW everyday for the earliest flight to go down from $154/New Orleans to Orlando and $124/Orlando to New Orleans, and was about to give up. Well I checked just 30 min ago and THEY WENT DOWN!!! $106/ each way PLUS I had the $25 off/per person code!!!

Phew..............now I really feel like I'm going

I always do it--have for the past 3 trips. What you can do is pre-order the cd. If you get home and don't think you got enough good shots for it to be worthwhile, you can always ask for a refund. You can add neat borders and character signatures to your photos, too. When you get the cd they send a copyright release so you can print yourself or send it off somewhere. I use Shutterfly and get copies of my fav. prints, but I also do their photobooks---they are terrific!

Make sure when you get pics taken that you mention to the photographer that you have the cd--I think they tend to take more shots that way. Also, ask if they can do any "special" shots--some of those turn out great. We still always carry our own camera--too many other things to take a photo of and you never know when you'll want it.

Some of that is the way Kohl's markets. Everything is always "on sale", but then they have a sale on their sale. I still think they have nice things at a reasonable price. The coupons are great.

Kohl's is one of those places that if it's not on sale today, wait until tomorrow. They have a 'new' sale every time you turn around. I never buy anything at Kohl's that isn't on sale and THEN I have coupon on top of that. It's probably just as well that I didn't get that 30% off coupon--Lord knows we don't need anything.

That is what got me - the 30% coupon - could not pass it up. It is also DS's birthday today, and we were able to get him a watch there too as well as a bathing suit, flip flops, and clothes.
