**Official Frozen Sing-Along, Oaken's, Holiday Premium Package Tips, updated 1/5/15

We went to the MK today. There is a little blip on the Times Guide about "Frozen Summer Fun Live". The MK was out of Elsa dolls but they had plenty of Anna dolls.

I'm in search of a plush Sven. Any ideas where I could find one before July 5?

Subbing, DH and I will be there Aug. 21 - 26.

Welcome.

Just found out that guests can bring their own skates and they can skate. :cool1: There will be more detailed information on this in the coming days/weeks.

Thanks, I'll update this in the 1st post!

We got the F! dining package and are going the last week of August. So that means F! is @ 9:15 and then the fireworks are still @ 9:45? Hopefully that moves out 15 min too. Subbing to the thread to keep an eye on this. Thanks!!

Welcome. Aug 17th the times of fireworks change. Info is in the first post of this thread.

We are going to be there July 4-8 and excited to check out the winter funland and fireworks. Have FPs for the 7th so this should work out nicely. :cool1:

Welcome. How fun! Please be sure to share your thoughts and tips.

thanks for posting this! I can't wait to see reviews etc when this all opens. Hoping they extend into fall!

Welcome. Tomorrow is July 1st. The 5th is right around the corner. I'm excited to see everyone's experiences too. We are going the 5th, but not staying all day. So excited!

This is all very exciting. Too bad we are flying, there is no way I can imagine packing ice skates for a quick skate...my luggage would be overweight and I need my cute outfits darn it! LOL

I haven't put on skates since we moved to FL. Mine are still up north. If they were here, I don't think I'd want to lug them around all day.

Fant will be at 8:30 and 10:00. Frozen fireworks will be at 9:15. See POST #1.

Thanks for the reminder! I'm loving the extended sunlight hours. I hate to think of the days getting shorter so soon.

Lovethattink: we saw a plush Sven Wednesday at the Times Square Disney Store in NYC... ;-). (Probably doesn't help you! Lol)

Going end of August and have 3 girls with us and they are excited.

Boy is so/so on it. Figure if he doesn't want to do it we can hit TOT until he gets bored or park closes which ever comes first:thumbsup2

In a video to DHS Cast Members today they showed concept art for some of the elements for this event. For the take along Olaf it's like the Duffy Bear on a stick that they have at Epcot and in the back are the signatures of Elsa, Anna, Kristoff and Olaf

It's July!! Please Disney release merchandise, food and beverage info too!

Cool! So glad more info was released to cm. Look forward to seeing it soon.

Would you happen to have the link to this video? Thank you! :thumbsup2

Joining in, we just booked a last minute trip because of the Frozen activities. We are coming in for Labor Day weekend. I guess I should change my ticker.

The Olaf/Duffy sounds cute. DS will love it because that is all he wants to do in Epcot.

Please keep posting tips and information!!!

Would anyone have the link which says the fireworks change mid-August to 9:15 instead of 9:45?

I just saw Sven at our Target. It was $9.99 for a beanie baby size one that makes "reindeer" noises. :-)

Any tips/advice from other similar events on how to make sure we make a singalong. We are making a special bday trip for my daughter specifically for HS (we are ap holders). It seems like this will be a lot of fun to do!

I talked to a CM the other day that said the fireworks on our night, August 17, would be at 9:45?

It's been posted on Disney blogs and unofficial Disney blogs that 9:15 is correct for fireworks when Fant is at 8:30 and 10:00. The scheduling allows for guests to get from Fant to a viewing location for the fireworks. There would never be fireworks at 9:45 when there is a 10:00 Fant.

This is from Disney Parks blog (See POST #1 for the link):
Marissa – The ‘Frozen’ Fireworks Spectacular will be presented nightly at 9:45 p.m. through August 16 (shifting to 9:15 p.m. Aug. 17 – Sept. 1, due to earlier sunset). Please note that the ‘Frozen’ Fireworks Spectacular will not be presented on Aug. 23, when Disney’s Hollywood Studios closes at 7 p.m. to host the Villains Unleashed event.

Thanks for the Sven spotting. That's right in our price range and small would be easy to stick in a back pack. Reindeer noises would be right down ds's alley.

Typically for this theater, if the queue is all the way up to the subway area, you probably won't get in. We barely made it into one of the SWW shows when the queue was nearly at Yous Guys. Though for Mark Hamill, they opened up more queue area by Muppets extending that covered area much further than they had the previous weekend when we were out near Yous Guys in line.

The theater sits about 1000 guests. They allowed SRO for Mark Hamill. I don't know if they will have SRO for the sing-along or not.

I'm sure we'll see lots of girls dressed up as Anna and Elsa. The only boy costume I could find was a way to warm Olaf costume. Sure to melt anyone who wears it. My son loves to wear costumes so I've been thinking of disneybound ways to dress him as Kristoff, without him melting like Olaf. In the meantime, we found winter, short sleeve t-shirts at Disney for ds.

At this point, I don't own any short sleeve winter themed shirts or even Frozen themed shirts. Just curious though, have you given any thoughts to what you might wear to Frozen Summertime Fun Live? (Adult costumes are not allowed, as far as I know, for this event.)
