**Official Frozen Sing-Along, Oaken's, Holiday Premium Package Tips, updated 1/5/15

That's great! I wasn't sure how they were being distributed. Hopefully it remains that way.

We were as well--- the 12:30 didn't work for us because we had a lunch ADR at mama melrose---- so, at 11:30, we were able to get tickets for the 2:30, and right after that, we were able to tix for the 5:30 show- no problem!!

Looking forward to it! Probably the first Frozen TR!

Thanks! I hope to crank it out fast.

I saw someone else ask this question but I don't think it ever got answered; Does anyone have any touring plans with the FSF? I'm thinking my family and I really want to do the ice skating and the sing a long show but also like to catch a glimpse of the parade (prime viewing is not needed since we will be meeting A&E at MK the next day) so getting our sing a long ticket at park opening, getting in line and doing the ice skating, using our FP for TSMM, and catching some of the parade? We are not purchasing the premium ticket.

Also Im interested to see if anyone has seen any Anna or Elsa Mickey ears? I actually made my own for DD and myself so I wanted to see how well mine compared to the Disney ones! 27 Days for us!! pixiedust:

I wish I knew the times for the ice rink and the number of how many guests are admitted to build a snowman. When we were there, the Zamboni came out at noon. Shortly after that, the figure skaters came out. We spent an hour and a half between the snow, watching the guests skate, the Zamboni, and the figure skaters.

We were as well--- the 12:30 didn't work for us because we had a lunch ADR at mama melrose---- so, at 11:30, we were able to get tickets for the 2:30, and right after that, we were able to tix for the 5:30 show- no problem!!

So glad to hear!

Ok I am so excited for the Frozen activities! I've been so caught up in the "keep the premium package or cancel" debate but now am starting to panic- will we have time for anything else at HS? Ie TSMM, TOT, RNR, Muppets. I was looking forward to a short HS day and back to the resort pool for afternoon and evening- now I'm afraid to leave HS at all during the day!!!

Very nice!

Did I label the Premiere Theater correctly? I had to guess since I've never been there, but I did my best to triangulate off of description from this thread and the rough map KennythePirate made for SWW. Confirmation that I am accurate would be nice, though. :thumbsup2

Premiere Theater is slightly above the red Mickey Hand icon on the map... dark gray and looks like a piece from Tetris.

I don't know if anyone has posted this or not, but when I was in line waiting to go in for the sing a long on the 5th a cast member told me that this whole thing was put together in the last two weeks and they're still figuring out how to handle things like show ticket distribution, queues, etc. I'm not sure how accurate that information is, but from what I saw they were figuring out a lot of it on the spot on the 5th. Just bringing it up because with that in mind what seems to be the case one day might change entirely the next.

FWIW.. when we got our sing along tickets we could not choose the time. They told us that they had to give out all of one show before they could start giving out the next. We picked up our 6PM tickets around 4PM.

And a word of warning on the Sven plush.. they're overstuffed and pop their seams fairly easily. At least mine did. I didn't even cuddle him or anything and I already have to take a needle and thread to his antlers. :\

Correct. And the smaller red-ish colored area of that "tetris" piece is the Premium Package entry. Across the street from that entrance is the ticket distribution. The area closest to the Premiere Theater of the Muppet's building is part of the regular queue along with the area where all the green umbrellas are. The regular queue starts at the green umbrellas, winds around to part of the old Muppet's queue, then crosses the street into the other section of the "tetris"

It's possible to do it all and go back for a swim break. Are you going on an EMH? You could go to one of the tier one at part opening and FP+ the other two biggies. Muppets is large capacity so you shouldn't have a problem seeing it without a FP+. Get tickets for the sing-along either before or after your resort break. Swim then come back for fireworks in the evening. And squeeze Oaken's in there somewhere?

Thanks. Look forward to reading it.

Thank you! I will correct that. Do you know if the line for the Sing Along is right in front of the theater or slightly offset?

Thanks for sharing your experiences.

Yes, this was "thrown" together pretty quickly, but I'm amazed at how well the first weekend went. The sing-along show is fabulous with amazing lighting and effects. The fireworks were great and as well as the stage show portion. There definitely were a few kinks along the way, but each day we went we saw improvements.

I wonder if arriving at 10am vs. 4pm makes a difference? Or had you inquired earlier about the tickets for the show?

We bought a Sven plush. Thanks for the heads up. I will keep a close eye on my son's. He's been pretty rough with his and his Olaf. They seem to be holding up pretty well at this point.

New Frozen Map!

Great job!!
And, per lovethattink's detailed description, the street adjacent to the Kermit hot air balloon icon, San Francisco Street, is where the Green Umbrellas/queue is for the Sing-along.

I don't see the actual street on the map for the green umbrellas. It is the street between the queue for the jedi council and the muppet building extra queue.

Thanks for this map. :) We are going next weekend and I could not picture in my head where the Sing-Along was being held.

And thanks to everyone sharing their reviews. The info has been very helpful!!

Yes, thank you for the map, gules! I had been searching over the park map on the disney site and could never find it. Never even noticed that building before.

The photos of the Green Umbrellas were taken on San Francisco Street, that's why Palooza was moved. San Francisco street leads to the Golden Gate Bridge backdrop. The map isn't to scale which is confusing for that whole Streets of America area.

Hi guys, back from our 4th of July weekend trip to D.C. and boy how this thread has exploded.
We are going Saturday to check it all out and are planning a very special birthday visit for my niece who is turning 3 and is a Frozen Fan on August 5th.
I first thought about trying to get her in the parade (didn't read the full thread but I'm thinking they pick kids at random like sww?) but I checked out a video and don't see anything extra special other than walking in the parade. And the welcome show at the stage didn't really seem like something worth standing in the sun for. Does anything special happen backstage fort he kids picked?
We are planning on catching the parade around the Star Tours area in hopes for lesser crowds, the only thing I would be missing is the welcomes how and the snow right?

Welcome to all the new posters and lurkers! Thanks to all those who are posting about their experiences.

Thanks so much! I'll link it to the first page.

I was confused. Because we were standing at the package entrance and the green umbrellas were directly across the street from us.

Welcome back!

Yes, the children get picked at random. Right, they walk in the parade. Friday and Saturday they wore blue capes. They did get a full head on view of the parade once they got to the stage. Yesterday, they didn't wear capes. Probably because it was 95 degrees with a higher heat index.

That's a good question. I don't know if anything special happens back stage. If it does, pictures wouldn't be able to be taken to capture it. I was wondering myself, if the kids get welcomed back stage by A&E? Kind of like how several of the celebrities would walk up and say hello to the children during SWW.

As far as I know, haven't been back near Star Tours for the parade yet, there is no snow back there. Also at the opening gate up to Hollywood BLVD there is no snow. We stood there twice. At the gate, the parade flies by. 4 minutes. Unless the horse does his duty. They it pauses for clean up and the entertainers do continue their routines. We had one parade there with a pause and one without. The one with the pause was great. The one without the pause was practically over in a blink of the eye.

We still haven't stopped to see the welcome.

This is very helpful thank you. How long do you think you spent in the Funland? My kids won't be skating either. I was estimating 30 minutes for photos / playing in snow (although we get enough of that in NY in the winter) and 20-30 minutes for shopping.

I would say that was about right. Might depend how long you need to wait to get on the snow or into the shop. In our case that was only 5 minutes for each.
