Official Frozen at WDW Thread (Updated May 20th) FEA and RS Open June 21

Presently, a 2 hour wait for FP+ and the standby line is closed. Wow!

Saw on Bay New 9 there was a 300 minute wait at one point. Wow!

:scared1: Not-so-fast-pass!!! :scared1:

I am assuming/hoping this FP+ effect will quiet down by mid-Aug!!

Lol! Definitely not so fast!

I was really hoping to get there today, but my son has been in the hospital for over a week. So it wasn't a possibility. Hopefully, by the time I get there, the Not-so-fast FP+ line will be back to a fast FP+ queue.

I hope your son is better soon! At least he doesn't have to feel like he's missing out on a great experience at Epcot today.

Thanks. We are looking at discharge tomorrow. Maybe tonight! It's my grown son. Once he is comfortable home alone we may slip out. I have a FP for Monday night. So that's a maybe.

Yesterday, June 21, was the last day of our trip to WDW (Magical Express pick up at 3:10pm). I was able to get FP+ for Frozen at 1:45 the day the FP option opened up. We knew it would be tight to ride Frozen and get back to the Poly by 3:00. When we got to Norway about 1:15, we could not believe how long the FP+ line was. Turns out the ride was down. We got in line and waited, and waited... They had ice water stations set up around the queues and were handing out Mickey Bars and ice cream sandwiches at one point, as it was so hot outside with no shelter. Finally, at 2:20, my son and I decided we had to go back to the hotel to catch ME. My DH decided to wait, and catch a cab to the airport if necessary. That was way too stressful for me to think about doing. As we boarded the Monorail back to TTC, the ride opened up again. We made it back to the Ceremonial House about 2:50, and my DH was just getting off the ride. Of course, the ME bus showed up EXACTLY on time, and it was nerve wracking whether he would make to the front in time. We stalled as long as we could, and then as the driver got on, we saw him jogging around the corner. He was able to just make it on the bus! Totally unnerving, but he says it was worth it! It will have to wait for next trip for my son and I. We were in Epcot 3 times during our trip and the never had any soft opens going on, which I think was part of the issue - they did not have a chance to deal with any issues before it opened.

Whoa! That was close.

On July 3rd we had an 8:10 ADR at Akurshus. We got to the main entrance at 7:30 and we were about the 6th family in line. They let everyone in right before 8 and there were many more people by then. We fast walked quite a while to Norway. Arrived, met princesses, and were done eating by 8:45. There were about 20 people lined up for Frozen Ever After but we went around the corner to meet Anna and Elsa. There was no one there but us! They walked us through at 8:50 and it is so well done! We were in line for FEA 5 minutes later, about 30 people in front of us. A little after 9 a mob of people rushed over with the pace guy, I was so relieved that our plan worked! Unfortunately the ride didn't start on time and we chose to get out of line to go meet Joy and Sadness and used our Soarin FP (best thing ever). We went back that night for dinner and fireworks at 9 and we were REALLY lucky because they kept FEA open after illuminations and rushed everyone through! It was awesome!!

OT how long did you wait for Joy and Sadness after getting out of the FEA line?

I am looking for some advice regarding using FP+ for the Frozen Sing Along at HS. We will be there on July 25th and are planning on seeing the 3:30 show. Prior to the show we are planning on watching the March of the First Order at 3:00 in front of the Center Stage. Will we have enough time to utilize a fast pass at the Frozen Sing Along or should we just do standby? The only other choice for our third FP+ that day is the Indiana Jones Stunt Show at 2:00. I am having a really hard time deciding which fast pass to select. Thank you for any advice.

they will let you in with the fp for the 3:30pm show. Your fp will be from 3 to 3:15pm. The First Order March is about a 12 minute thing, they will let you inside even if you are a couple of minutes late.

Hi, I was wondering what the FP+ wait times are like now. I know when the ride first opened there were 2hr waits for FP and am wondering if its died down. I have a couple of FP's for September but not keen on waiting an hour a FP line. Thanks :)

When we were there Monday, it was a 10 minute wait for the Sommerhus in the afternoon and a 45 minute wait standby for the attraction. Our wait time in FP+ line was about 5 minutes.

Sorry I've gotten so far behind on this thread. I see I have a lot of updating to do.

Did you all know there is a photo op for FEA? I had no idea, of course, I was trying to avoid ride spoilers. So maybe it was reported already.

Like like they are getting more people in the boats, so that's a good sign!
