That is so odd.
It sure is!
That is so odd.
KTP posted a rumor of summer outfits being worn. I know @Berlioz70 had reported that not being a possibility. But I think it would be the best day ever if the summer dresses made a debut! Maybe not the best day ever for the queue though.

It really feels to me like Soarin' + FEA + TestTrack all being Tier 1 is too much.Especially with 2 out of those 3 being new/revamped.
I posted months ago MK FL CMs were told summer dresses would be worn in Sommerhus.
It makes sense:
- Dresses match attraction season
- New dresses mean more draw to Epcot, which is the point
- Increase sales in costume dresses
- Why not? Belle has different outfit from MK.

I can understand having Belle in another outfit -- because you can see her in both. If A&E were staying at MK and getting the new M&G at Epcot, I could see having the classic dresses at MK and the summer dresses at Epcot to fit the theme of Royal Sommerhaus. But now that A&E will only be at Epcot, I find it hard to believe they'll be in anything other than their classic dresses.
Imagine the fun of waiting through that line (which would be longer if they were in new costumes) then having your little one say "OK, now where do we meet Elsa in her blue dress?"
First World problems![]()
We're on a Disney discussion board.
Aren't they all "first world problems"?
It's hard to picture the logistics of them not having the attraction open during EMH. Otherwise, half the people who get in at 8:00 are going to make a bee line for Norway and start forming a line at the closest possible point allowed, (either a rope over by Mexico or at the entrance to the ride itself). By the time 9:00 rolled around, there would be a 2 hour line for the ride already built up. That would make no sense from a park operations standpoint, so the more logical solution would be to just let the people ride who showed up at 8:00. None of this is official, mind you. Just logical thinking. Remember that the M&G used to start at 11:00, and back when it did, the line grew to be 4 hours long before 11:00 arrived, and the crowding was unmanageable. So they started the M&G at 9:00 even though the rest of WS wasn't open yet. To avoid a repeat of history, they would have to include FEA in the list of attractions open during EMH. Of course, eventually we are likely to see a Magical Morning event here allowing early access to FEA, the M&G and one other attraction. Mexico, maybe?Do we think that FEA will be open during EMH? Specifically morning?
Just wanted to bump this to see if anyone had seen anything prior to 11 after the first week? I keep trying to modify our 7/4 FP several times daily....tell me again the definition of insanity?!?! LOL!!!strange, I checked every day for the next 60 days and 11:05 was the first FP on every single day. It wasn't even gone on any day. At least 30 min ago it wasn't
ETA - I must have skipped the June dates.
It's in July that the earliest I find starts at 11:00. Up till June 27 I see them at 9:XX
Odd. It's like they didn't load them prior to 11:00 starting in June 28
Can anyone find before 11:00 in July?
I booked our FP for our July trip yesterday, through 7/22 to 7/31. And not a single day was FEA available prior to 11:05. But I could get 11:05 for every day. I'm sure they aren't gone just till 11:00 but everything else is still there, it has to be they haven't loaded anything prior to that yet.Just wanted to bump this to see if anyone had seen anything prior to 11 after the first week? I would love it if this turned out to be the case!
You make a very good point. Imagine the fun of waiting through that line (which would be longer if they were in new costumes) then having your little one say "OK, now where do we meet Elsa in her blue dress?"
But then Disney has done crazy things like that before. Try meeting Donald in his blue sailor suit at WDW.
Hey, maybe they'll drive everyone BONKERS and have them meet in different costumes in different rooms.Just try meeting Mickey as Steamboat Willie at DL. That's the very definition of frustrating. We finally did, but only after waiting through that line repeatedly and eventually having a poor CM take pity on us.
We were able to ask the cm at the door at DL if we could wait for steam boat Willy and she coordinated with the CMS inside and just had us wait to the side.
You really have to catch the right CM for that to happen. We tried it the other trips through and they played it all coy saying we just wouldn't know how he would be dressed until we got back there. What was frustrating is that it really wasn't that busy. It wouldn't have killed them to just let us step aside and wait for the right group. I finally asked the CM in the room with the traditional Mickey if he had any idea how we could find Steamboat Mickey and he had us step aside and wait. Just too much cagey game playing.
That would be smart but I'm thinking there is another reason.I wonder if they would have 9-11AM standby only and start the F+ at 11??
That would get a lot of people through faster than starting F+ at 9.
Sometimes when they try too hard to create "magic", it comes off as being a cheap and disappointing parlor trick.Just too much cagey game playing.
