...not really....I kinda got my voice back, but the cold settled in my chest and now I can't stop coughing!! And, my DS got his 4 wisdom teeth pulled - he was NOT a 'happy camper' for 4 days! ....

Oh no! What a rough time! Have you been to a doctor? And your poor DS.

...I FINALLY had time (yeah, ri-i-i-ight!) to go to the doctor yesterday, so I'm on Cipro and Singulair [sp?] (and Robitussin for the cough)....

BTW ~ my MIL fell last week, walking my SIL's puppy, and broke her leg (femur) and kneecap in SEVEN PLACES ; she was rushed to the hospital, but they couldn't operate on her leg (to put in a plate and a rod) until they tested her heart to see if her heart could 'take' the operation...she was in so much pain that they had to give her morphine...

Oh Kim!!! I hope the meds help you. I take Singulair daily to help control my allergies. Feel better soon!

...thanks...they moved her to a rehabilitation center, where she will get physical therapy for 5 weeks, but that's where she will be for Christmas....

Sorry to hear about your MIL....that might be very stressful on her body...I will say a prayer for her.

You my dear Kim...I hope you are feeling better(btw did you get the flu shot?) I only get really sick like that when I get the flu shot and Cipro is for semi serious infections...so you must be pretty sick...feel better soon

I am sure you DS has pain meds, so I am sure he's fine(plus he's young -or younger than us I should say)

BTW ~ my MIL is doing okay - we visited her for a few hours on Chirstmas day, as did some of my DH's brothers and sister, so that she wouldn't be ALONE....all in all, a fairly quiet day. At least we got to spend Chirstmas Eve with my mom, since she will be going back to Puerto Rico on Saturday.... * sigh *
