I like Gabbys boyfriend, Victor or Vincent or whatever it is. He cracks me up. Him and Gabby are a good pair, they interact well together.
Though wait until Gabby finds out about Carlos and Edie!!

I did LOVE the scene at Lynette's tho.........

Gabby: "So, what shade of orange are we talkin' here? Salmon? Coral?"

Lynette flashes "work uniform".

Gabby: "Oh, Cheese Puff color."

Best line of the night, I thought....

All in all, another good episode...looking forward to more. ChristmasElf should be along w/ a recap...... ...sooner or later.......

I haven't watched last night's episode yet, DVR'd it.

I don't like how they have made Susan so "accident prone"...that's not her.

Hasn't Susan always been pretty accident prone? Remember, she fell into the bushes naked in the first season, burned Edie's house down, fell through the ceiling at Mike's once (I believe), I know there are more.

Yeah, how does one catch another person on fire? If anything it would have been the mom's fault. And do British people really not know what grilling is?

I don't usually care for Susan and last night was no exception. Why wouldn't she sign the pre-nup? I find it perfectly acceptable for Ian's parents to want to protect their family estate. It's not like she won't get anything.

SORRY!!! The pokey puppy has finally arrived with the recap!!


We open tonight with Susan and Ian standing outside and Susan poking his neck with the thorns on a red rose she was holding. We then get treated to a series of Ians memories of a clumsy Susan.

Next thing ya know, Ian's Mom and Dad show up in a car to meet Ians new fiancee. The folks seem to like Susan. They do seem to be a bit aloof however when Ians Dad makes a comment on how "primative" the thought of cooking on a grill was!
Next thing you know, Susan has started her future Mother in Law on fire!! Seems too much lighter fluid was tossed onto the charcoal...
Pretty funny though seeing Susan tossing water and then tackling ole Mum to the ground with a tarp in an effort to "snuff the fire out of the old gals chiffon!

Next we see Susan rummaging through her closet looking at an old cheerleader uniform.
Lynette seems to be doing the same only with a bikini
Oops there is Edie praying her leather pants come back in style
Then the camera hops us over to Gabrielles closet that shows all of her clothing beautifully hung up and in order. We then watch as the roof crashes in and water spills out onto all the contents!!! Whut wo!!
Cut to Gaby and Edie who are coming back from a short shopping excursion.
When Gabby opens up the front door, she sees water pouring out from the ceiling and runs up the stairs to a mess!!!

Lynette arrives at the pizza place. Tom hands her an orange T shirt/uniform to which Lynette balks at the color and wants to know why the staff cant wear a uniform and she cant just wear regular clothes.

Edie has left Gabbys and spots Carlos playing ball with Edies son Travers. Carlos is shirtless and Edie decides he is now fair game since he is seperated from Gabby

Back to Susans where dinner is served. Seems Mom has changed her chiffon into something hopefully more durable. As they all sit down to Chinese takeout, Ians parents ask where Susans daughter was. Susan explains that she is at her ex husbands. This surprises the folks as they had assumed Susan was a widow. Ians mother says something about all men being weak and they essentially stray and it needs to be overlooked.
Susan says something like "Divorce the ***, keep the assets" and for Ian to be careful

Gaby is out to dinner with Victor. She is whining that her water heater in the attic has burst and all her clothes are ruined. Victor then tells her that this is a good time to have a rich boyfriend. Gaby then informs him that he will never be her boyfriend and that this is their last date. Victor then points out that the last time they went out Gaby said it would be the last date. Gaby says she means it this time He wants Gaby to join him again the next night as he is getting some award from the Rotary Club. When the two move inside the house as it is getting chilly, Gaby wanders into a massive closet filled with designer duds. How Lucky!!
It seems that her dates ex is exactly the same size as Gabrielle, and now Gaby wants to borrow one of the designer dresses hanging in the closet for their Rotary date the next night. Victor says no, that the clothes belong to his ex wife and he is just storing them. Gaby is not pleased.
Poor baby.

Mike is at his therapist reminiscing about his past date at a movie. The therapist wants Mike to talk to Susan.

Edies son is tricking Carlos into coming over the next night under the guise of helping with something that needs to be put together. He tells Carlos to come at 7. Turns out Edie has put the kid up to the call.

Back at Susans, Ian is helping Susan do the cleanup. Then we hear Ians Mom fall down on a throw rug spilling wine on her top. Susan goes to get a towel and catches Ians Dad trying on one of Susans frilly bathrobes.
Seems the old boy likes trying on womans who whos!!!

Back downstairs Ian and his Mother are discussing matters. Seems Mom wants Ian to have Susan sign a pre nup. When Ian states that Susan will not sign anything, the Motehr says that the inheritance will then be left to Ians brother. (the homosexual alcoholic as Ian would call him)
Now Dad has joined the happy bunch, and Mom is talking about how in the past she has found bills for expensive lingerie and that had opened her eyes.
(little did Mom know dear old dad had a strange hobby!!!)

Lynette is having an impromtu employee meeting at the pizza place. Lynette wants to know how they all feel about the uniforms. When the employees start to mention other problems, Lynette keeps bringing up the shirts. Tom overhears all this ranting of Lynettes and they have words. When Tom tells Lynette that she too has to wear the darn shirt, she storms out!

Gaby shows up at Victors and when the maid answers the door, Gaby rambles on about drinking too many iced teas and needs to use the bathroom, while running right past her and up the stairs! She then goes into the closet and promptly puts on about ten designer outfits all at once one over the other! She then slips her long coat back on and tells the maid (who is now sweeping the front walk) that she feels about ten pounds lighter and runs off!

Susan is unloading her groceries when Mike walks up and wants to talk. Mike wants to ask her about a movie, and starts to talk about it. Susan tells Mike that it wasnt a movie, that it was us. Susan then proceeds to fill in the missing details and Mike starts to remember. As Susan walks away we see Ian watching from the window.

Meanwhile Gaby shows up at the Rotary where her date Victor, is impressed that she is wearing a fancy dress and that he will pay for it. Gaby tells him that he doesnt have to, and to "trust me, it was a steal"
Whan Gaby goes off to powder her nose, said dates friend drops by to inform him that his ex wife has been spotted in the building
We then see a woman wander into the ladies room and spotting Gaby in HER dress, tells Gaby that those dresses are one of a kind and that the dress is hers!!! She then calls Gaby a slut friend of Victors and that he shouldnt have lent it to her. She demands Gaby take off the dress! When Gaby refuses, the woman pulls out a can of pepper spray and threatens Gabrielle with it.
Next thing we see is the woman (Samantha) back out in the party area, socking ole Victor in the face!!

Victor is now sporting a black eye, but ever the gentleman, heads over to the ladies room to hand his suit jacket over to the now half naked Gaby.

Carlos has shown up at Edies and is helping with the model airplane. Edie rushes the kid off to bed to which Carlos announces he has to go too. When Carlos escorts the boy upstairs, Edie messes up the model so Carlos will have to re fix it again. Edie turns down the lights and begins to hover over Carlos. Carlos pushes Edie away saying that Edie is not the type he is looking for. Edie ends up tossing Carlos out of her house when he calls her on her behavior.

Lynette, Susan and Gaby are now sitting at Lynettes drinking beers. Lynette keeps leaving messages for Tom while the girls start discussing Lynettes and Toms problems at the restaurant. Lynette leaves Susan and Gaby to babysit while Lynette goes searching for Tom.

Lynette arrives at the pizza place and finds Tom passed out on the floor. She calls 911. She starts to cry and begs him to wake up and hang on! Later at the hospital, the Dr tells Lynette Tom is okay and that he threw out his back due to a ruptered disc and needs to take it easy for several months. He will also need surgery.

Susan finds Ian in bed reading pre nup papers. He then asks her to sign them. A confused Susan wonders why. He tells her its all about his parents, but Susan thinks it's because of Mike and that she saw Ian watching through the window.

Mike is back at the therapist. She tells him to hang in there and Mike tells the Dr that he wants to quit the therapy sessions.

Gaby shows Victor all the dresses she took from Samanthas closet. When Gaby asks him about his failed marriage to Samantha, Victor tells Gaby that he treated her like a mistress. He set her up in a nice house, bought her everything she wanted, and he came and went as he pleased. He went on to say that Samantha was always there when he needed her, yet he wasnt. She could go shopping whenever she pleased, and you can see how much shopping she did. This must get Gabby to thinking, as she relents and tells Victor that she will date him. Gaby just sees new clothes in her future.....

Susan, Ian and Ians parents are sitting around the table while Susan signs the pre nup papers. She also starts to talk in code, she looks at the Dad while stating that there will be NO secrets, and that she will tell Ian EVERYTHING. She won't SKIRT the issues and will adDRESS everything. Ians Dad gets it and tears up the papers!!

Edie comes home to find flowers on her porch with a note. Carlos is the sender. He is apologizing. Edie goes next door to thank Carlos for the flowers and then cries on his shoulders about her life and how maybe he can start to look at her differently. Edie starts to shed her clothing and before ya know it, is standing there in front of Carlos naked. She is asking for a chance. He hugs the naked broad.

Lynette is sitting beside a bedridden Tom telling Andrew on the phone that the restaurant will be open that night. We then see Lynette back at her house putting on the orange shirt.

I can't believe one kiss from Mike and Susan is feeling differently now.

Can someone please tell me why a small child is calling Edie "mom"? I miss a few eppisodes and they manage to have her be a mom! It really seems like the writers are pulling that story line out of their . Just as a reason to get her and Carlos together.

Oh yes! Suddenly, it has been decided that Edie should have a son from a previous marriage. The father has dropped him off for a month long visit with "Mom". Carlos has pointed out to Edie that whe wasn't being a very good mother just pawning the kid off on people and going on with her life. So since Carlos took a liking to the boy and was looking after him, Edie decided to try and get her hooks into Carlos.


I will post the entire recap in about an hour or so.
