DD has half a day of school on Thursday and then we leave for the airport. She still doesn't know yet, but I am DYING to tell her@!! At first it wasn't to 'surprise' her, but more due to another family member's health issues, I wasn't sure if we'd actually make it. I took trip insurance, which I hardly ever have done before.

Now all the issues have been resolved for the time being. I then didn't tell her, becuase I didn't want her saying anything at school until I was ready to speak to the teacher. Now, I haven't told her, just because I hadn't done it so far, I figure, why not surprise her?

I really want to tell though!

Tomorrow we start travelling!!! Our suitcases are packed and we're as good as ready to go. In less than 24 hours we'll take our first plane, for the first part of out trip. We stop off in England and then we are staying the night there. The next day the real part of our trip begins and we're going to Orlando from London. I can't wait!!!

I'm starting from Amsterdam (the Netherlands) and we are stopping in London (England) for the night, then the next morning we're going to fly to Orlando.

Where are you starting from? Sound like a long drive!! We split up our trip in 2 days on purpose, because if else we had to travel for about 19 hours (including waiting times) straight, and with a two year old, that did not seem like a great idea. That is why we sleep over in England.

We are in St. Paul, MN. It is about a 24 hour drive straight through. We don't usually do that though!! Two days, long days!!

we leave Wednesday 9th from London... 9 hour flight .. it's ok though.. planning on watching several Disney movies, reading the guidebooks and listening to podcasts.. the time will fly
