OFFICIAL December 2009!! Celebrating the Holidays.. ADR list page 41 :)

Hi everyone!

I went to visit my sister this weekend and we had a WDW December 'planning party'!
We wore our Minnie Ears while making a draft of 'The Plan' ... our ADR day is this Thursday so we needed to get out thoughts together!

We are so excited about our plan for park days & restaurants!!

Hoping to get reservations at:

Kouzzina (dinner)
Tusker House (breakfast)
'Ohana (dinner)
Coral Reef (+ Candlelight Processional package)
Paradiso 37 (dinner)
1900 Park Fair (breakfast)

We have MVMCP tickets for December 11th, hoping to catch some Disney podcast meets... and we're planning to do the Keys to the Kingdom tour in MK too!!

We're so excited.. it finally feels 'real' that we're going to WDW together!

Booked my ADRS this a.m.
I first thought that I could only do my first day, since we have a split stay (one night and four nights). But online let me do more, so then I called to book our group of 12. Didn't get all my first choices, but it's not too bad.
12/5 - CS
12/6
Kona lunch (just us four)
Crystal Palace dinner (all 12)

12/7
Teppan Edo dinner (all 12 - 2 groups of 6 at same time)

12/8
Tutto Italia late lunch (all 12 but have to drop 4)
LeCellier (4 - the ones who've never been there - not me!)

12/9 - CS

12/10
Ohana Breakfast (all 12)

We're not doing the Candlelight Processional package - too many TS and too expensive. We'll just try to see some of it from the back/side. We are trying to get to Fantasmic on 12/8, but will not go to the park until 4.
I'm going to have to hand out detailed instructions on parks/adrs to everyone!! I sure hope they appreciate it!

It all looks great! Thanks for wishing us all luck - I get to do mine tomorrow!!! Check out my PTR tomorrow to see what I was able to snag!

glad that everyone got what they wanted. I only did NOT get Le Cellier!!! No matter what time/day I put in it was full. I was going to get on at 6, buy wasn't feeling that great and got on a little after 7. The online thing kept having a glitch!! I was on till about 8:30. Everything else was good--I will keep checking until my departure for cancellations. The only one i will probably change is the ressie for Tonys. I have it for thur before the MVMCP...I wanted to do that earlier, but I could only get 5:45....but, if that's all I can get we'll just have to leave it!
I will post my itenarary later for ya'll to look and see what you think!! I am coming in on Sat 5th---just like Sheree...we are doing MK at rd on Sunday...gonna stay until Park closes for party. Hopefully Gracie and I will be at TT rope drop 9:45 so we can get to Pixie Hollow!! I am so excited about that!! We are doing something like Cosmic Rays for lunch, then we have Cindys Royal Table at 6:45!!! So, we should be to the room in time for baths and watching Wishes from the balconey!!! I think this will be an awesome day!!!! I am pumped about this day!!! Now...if I can get through halloween! Ha!!!!

My family is going in December as well. It's a surprise trip and we're telling the kids about it this Friday (my oldest son's 10th birthday). We are staying 12/12 at the Howard Johnson Maingate East, and then moving to POR 12/13 through 12/17 when we'll leave for three nights on the Disney Wonder.

I'm still trying to figure out what parks we'l visit on what days and then figure out ADRs. I obsess over planning a bit much! lol

Well I finally called GF IPO at 5:55pm who told me they got most of my reservations, but were unsuccessful with Chef Mickey's dinner and CRT lunch. They finally emailed me the iterniry we got 12-08 BBB for DD (hoping for CRT breakfast or lunch), 12-09 Wildlife Discovery Excursion 10am, 12-10 WCC at 6:10 then a sleigh ride at 8pm at WL, 12-11 Princess Storybook breakfsat at 10:30, 12-12 Narcossee at 7pm for DH Bday, 12-13 1900 Park Fare Breakfast 11am. Hoping to do Chef Mickey Dinner on 12-07 but would probably be ok with doing it 12-06 if possible. We arrive on 12-06 late morning but I'm not sure what kind of mood DD will be in so I was hoping to just leave that night open and just snack at the lounge and walk around GF. All in all I am very happy, I mean we are going to Disney at Christmas. Kind of hard to be upset about ADR when you say out loud "I will be at Disney at Christmas time!"

Just found this thread :goodvibes

My 25 yo DD and I (Mom) will be staying at the Contemporay from Sun Nov 29until Fri Dec 4. First time for DD at the CR, second time for me but it's been over 25 year :scared1: First time for both of us at Christmas. :santa: It's something we've been talking about for many years. We're both very excited :woohoo:

Plus we've gotten all the ADRs we wanted. LeCellier for lunch instead of dinner but we still got in :cool1:

Welcome to the DISboards!! Spend some more time around here and you'll know all you need to know and you'll both have a GREAT time!! Congrats on the ADRs! LeCellier lunch is just as good as dinner!

Us too!! We were dying to go there for out CP dinner package and we were able to get in at 3:55 for "dinner". But we didn't care, we were just so excited to finally get it after searching every possible time between our two Epcot days.

So excited I thought to look for this tread. I'm bursting at the seems with excitement. :lmao: DH and I are always glad to see the summer end because we always vacation after school starts. Only 87 more days for us!!!!

Just finished making our daily itinerary plans in a Word document! What a labor of love! I have the date, what parks we are going to, all park hours, all park parades/fireworks, our ADRs for the day and a brief "what the heck are we doing today" synopsis!!!! I have been working on paper version of this for about a month then once Dec. park hours came out I double checked everything then once the 90 day mark hit and ADR's were made I made the computer version! Feels so good to accomplish this! :cool1: Cannot wait for Christmas at WDW!!!! :santa::santa::santa::santa:

Isn't is silly that I read posts about people making ADR's for the week after mine, and get sad already that I'll be home then

In case I needed more proof that for me, planning is most of the fun: I haven't even left yet, and I'm experiencing post-vacation blues. :lmao:

(Seriously, does anyone else do that? The minute I get there, I get a little sad that its almost over? I had two vacations elsewhere this summer, and noticed that it doesn't happen anywhere else.)

Lol we have the same thing... but in Excel!! :surfweb:

I use spreadsheets all day at work, so I can work on my wdw planning with none of my colleagues suspecting a thing :rotfl:

Me too!
The only way I got over my post-wdw-blues in July was knowing I was going back in December... but after this trip, I don't have another trip planned :scared: (although I know it won't be too long, but maybe not til 2011?!) - at least I'll have xmas to look forward to when we get back from the World!

92 days to go... that means 2 more til ADR day! :yay:

We need to replace our computer- its almost 4 years old- so I've been going through and backing up any files I want to keep.
I loved coming across the folders for our trips in 05, 06, 07, 08, and this year- it starts with estimating the hours based on the past 5 or 6 years, then making a tentative schedule, then perfecting it when official hours are released, and finally getting to the detailed version like you have.

I've always been made fun of for going down with my folder full of itineraries, schedules, hours, etc :rotfl:

You are not alone, I have two spead sheets that say the same thing in slightly different ways. I will finalize them after I make my ADR this Friday. I am so OCD that I have been told that I have OMD ( Obsessive Mouse Disorder) It is to the point that Janet is ready to be done with the planning. For me the planning is half the fun!!!!

Another spreadsheet planner here! :thumbsup2 I actually have 9 tabs on this year's spreadsheet. :rolleyes1 I have one for dining that is just for cost, one for reservation numbers, one for tracking costs and savings that shows how much extra we will have, etc. I love my spreadsheets!!!

OOH, I like OMD! I'm sure I can self-diagnose that one in me!

I wish I knew how to use the spreadsheets better, but I manage as a beginner okay. I don't want to track my costs! I'm better off not knowing that!
I've also put my ADRs with confirmation #s in my Outlook calendar on my iPhone, as well as a Note with all the resort reservation #s (split stay, and I included the relatives #s).
:rolleyes1Is that too much??:confused3
