OFFICIAL December 2009!! Celebrating the Holidays.. ADR list page 41 :)

I'm getting really nervous about park hours. Our trip is November 30-December 7. My ADR date is September 1st. I feel like I am in the worst situation ever for making ADR's since it's likely that the park hours will come out the same day I have to log on and make ADR's. Ugh!

I am also having the same problems...Our ADR date is also September 1st. Right now it's all a guess. Everything is up in the air as to which park to pick and where and when to eat. Gosh I hate not knowing.

Stinks, doesn't it? We should start a "September 1st ADR" pity party club so we can all cry together. :rotfl:

I'm on the list but I added a day at the beginning, now I'm 12/5 at AKL and 12/6 - 12/10 at Bay Lake Tower. No need to amend it! :)

Oh, how much longer til December hours????? AAAHHH this is making me nuts!

We'll be at the Bay Lake Tower December 7-11. It will be the first trip to Disney for my DD4 and DD2 and our first trip staying on-site. Can't wait to experience Disney during the Christmas season!

I need to PARTY!!!

100 DAYS!!!

:banana::banana::yay::cheer2::cheer2::rockband: party:

Of course, tomorrow I can celebrate double digits too!!
Another 10 days and it's ADR time!! (biting nails nervously!)

Most of my nerves revolve around the fact that we will be a party of 12! (yes, 12)!!! I fully expect to be split up most places, but we can be so loud, that it won't matter! Then there's the whole "when will the park hours/show times be released" stress...
But, I'm still celebrating!! :woohoo:

I just purchased our airline tickets!! We're driving down, but the girls and I are flying back home the day we get off the cruise (Sunday) so they can get back to school. DH and his sister will drive back together. (She will have flown down earlier and met up with another sister).
See why I'm stressed? This is complicated!

But I think I got a decent price. Orlando to Minneapolis $109. I have only seen it below $100 once in the last few months.
well, one more thing I can cross off the list of things to do!!:thumbsup2

Sounds like a great deal! Is that RT? What airline?

We book our ADRs on Sunday! I'm so excited! :woohoo:

No, I wish it were RT. It's Sun Country, and one way from Orlando to Minneapolis. We're doing a weird thing with driving down and then DH and his sister will drive home. The girls and I will fly back for school and work on Monday. We like having our car (can pack anything) and since we're going on a cruise right after, we don't have to pay for the transfers. It's quite a few hundred dollars cheaper to do it this way even though I'd rather fly and all that. Makes for easier packing, no baggage charges...

Yeah, actually driving down and flying back sounds perfect. We're debating driving vs flying, so I've had my eye on deals, but both ways have their advantages and disadvantages. Being able to pack up the whole back with stuff would be great, but I dread the drive with 2 little ones.

For our last trip, we got some incredible deal on SW for like $35 one way, so we couldn't pass it up. Hopefully something like that will come along again.

Yeah, last time we had a weird situation too. Having to pick up MIL on the way, drop off after...
This year the kids have Friday off school. SO we're leaving Thursday after work and driving to get there on Saturday. Then SIL is going to fly down and meet another SIL in FL. She will drive home with DH after the whole trip and the girls and I fly.
I don't enjoy driving either - we do it a lot though. MIL lives in Virginia and we drive from MN to VA too. Just got back a couple weeks ago. My kids are okay with it - they have games and movies. I'm the worst one!!

But whoa - a $35 flight - I would have jumped on that too!!

We drove last year from Ohio but we took 2 wks and stopped on the way at a friends in NC, stopped on the way back in Savannah for a few days and at a different friends in NC so the driving wasn't quite so bad. Our kids do pretty good though and it was so nice to take whatever we wanted. I liked driving ourselves around at Disney too.

With that said, we are flying when going in December. We had flight credit that we had to use so there really wasn't any other option. But I am nervous about packing and trying to keep things light! I am totally known for overpacking! LOL

A question on the stage X closing of the parks due to crowds...

I read one of the stages was where they close the parking lots. Is that just for non-resort guests? If we are a resort guest but driving our car could we still get in?

Would the resort concierge (or maybe on the TV channels) have updates about the different levels of closures of the parks during the holidays?

TIA :)

I just booked our split stay for Saratoga Springs and Grand Floridian!!! We will be going for my husband's 40th birthday and staying at SSR from December 13th - 16th and then switching to GF - RPC Deluxe King room from December 16th - 20th. :cloud9: I can't wait!!!!! Only 106 more days

Our ADR day is tomorrow! :dance3:

I'll be up before 5am getting everything ready to go for when our window opens up. :surfweb:

Wish me luck!

My family has done New Years in Disney twice, and were going for a third this year! Dec 27 - Jan 5! Were so excited to be bringing in the new year with Mickey and Walt!:goodvibes
