Official Dancing With the Stars: Spring 2016

I'm hoping for a Paige, Wanye and Nyle finale, but somehow I'm sure Ginger will make the final three…

Me too, that's who I am hoping for. But I think you're are right and Ginger will be in there.

Yes, I think those 3 are the ones who SHOULD be in the Final. (Wanye just had a bad nite and was given a horrible song. But, he's been at the top of the leader board 3 times and has been consistently great.)

But, since the producers have to fit in Ginger, that means one of the three has to unfairly get bumped down. And of course, they have to make it look natural that Ginger - of course - is good enough to make it into the Finals by her constantly getting all 10s.

Let's take into account which star's fan base will most likely not watch next season, making that star the most expendable:

The show loves to have boy band members on. They automatically bring in a large, loyal fan base who already love music & dance. They stay to watch subsequent seasons, as another boy band member is cast. So Wanya, unless he messes up big time again, is likely to stay.

Paige has been doing great. She has Mark as her partner. They can't mess with their scores as Mark would likely walk off the show next season if they started doing that. Mark would likely follow Derek out in his slipstream. Derek is now gone. He no longer needs the show with upcoming, Singing In The Rain, on Broadway and also the TV Live version of Hairspray. I think he's unlikely to come back, except for guest judging like Julianne and Maks. Mark is the show's next best, veteran male dance pro. (Val a close second.) Mark tends to coast and take the easy way, doing too many shimmies. But, when he's given a great partner like Paige, he pulls out his best stuff. The producers can't afford to anger and lose him when he IS doing his best and then they purposely mark his partner down to boost a lesser star like Ginger.

So that leaves: NYLE. Look at which of the 3 stars above has ACTUALLY had his score of three 10s so blatantly obviously marked down TWICE to be lower than Ginger's: NYLE.

Are a lot of deaf/hearing impaired fans really going to keep tuning in when there isn't another hearing impaired star on? Some might. But, the producers probably already know the statistics & likelihood of how many, from the seasons since Marlee Matlin was on.

So MY bet is that unfortunately Nyle will end up being the fourth runner up, by Ginger just surpassing him with all the 10's she keeps magically getting.

She gets to report DAILY on GMA her progress on the DWTS, how amazing her journey has been, how amazing it is that she has been able to make it into the Finals. What a dream come true it is. GMA viewers just HAVE to tune in and root for her. She uses up the airtime on GMA to talk about it all. It's a natural commercial for DWTS on GMA. A total, double win for ABC. In the end, the network has to look out for itself and it's RATINGS.

I have always said that I think it's in the fine print of the show that the producers and network have the ultimate & final decision on who wins. We are now seeing how obvious they are positioning Ginger into the Finals. She might not win, but they want her in the Finals.

That's MY take on things at the moment.

Val and Ginger got a huge gift of 10"s after his mis-step (s) even I saw them , and that is on top of the intentionally distracting beams of light that you could see from the space station

As someone else posted, I like Ginger, on the weather...actually, I just plain don't like the fake scores and I can't really even blame her for it, but I can call her out for allowing it.

After she got all 10s again last nite, she seemed to have gotten cocky. She's now like the Mob boss' girlfriend, who knows she's being protected and no one can touch her. She knows ABC won't boot her now.

So do you guys think the contestants have figured out that the show is obviously rigged to make sure Ginger advances? I can't believe they would be okay with that.

I also wonder...since we all notice it, if the rest of the viewing audience does. Part of me wishes I had Twitter just to see if people are bringing it up!

But, I can be objective, and she can dance.

Wow, The minute Jodi comes into her own and hits 10's, she has to go.
I have liked Jodi, but never pegged her as the winner.
Just when she began to show her talent... darn!!!

Carrie Ann's team was AMAZING!!!
The effects and choreography!
She can be very demanding. This time, it paid off!!!
They def. were the winners there, even though, of course, all teams ended up with the same score.

Hated Wanya's dance. Love him, completely hated the dance.

And, it looked like the pants on his costume were so poorly designed and ill-fitting that he couldn't even move/dance in them!
Big time wardrobe malfunction.

She is the weekday weather person on Good Morning America on ABC. Used to be weekends until Sam Champion left and she was promoted to weekdays.

This may be jodie's best dance, at least she went out on a high note

The dark is way to distracting you can't even tell the dance because it's so bloody dark. Like let's distract from the dancing that's not great by being in the dark and the awful facial features. That no way in you know what deserved a 30

Wayna got screwed with a bad song and that slip up didn't help.

Len's was okay very bland to me

I agree with you, except what exactly is Mark gonna do? He doesn't seem to have developed alternatives like Derek has. And, Paige isn't drawing huge votes, I'm guessing, from the fighting fan base.....just doesn't seem to go together with dancing. You see Derek showing up all over the place; Mark not so much.

Nyles in the final. Paige out, along with the the football player next week.

And, Ginger stays. I'm guessing, without knowing for sure, that she is NOT drawing big votes....thus the obvious need to continually overscore her to keep her from being ejected.
