It's really not fair that one couple has to do a very precise dance as the quickstep, while 5 other couples get to do very ambiguous jazz dances and a contemporary dance, where they can do a lot simpler footwork and hide it all behind showy mood and attitude.

Just saw Jodie's dance. They should have never brought in Pink's original choreographer, trying to get them to perfect Pink's original lift. It was ridiculous. Jodie is NOT a dancer and that kind of expectation to to do a lift like that is ridiculous.

Having said that, she did a great job.

Loved the Austin Powers dance, but it's pretty obvious that Paige must have had quite a bit of dance training in her past.

I just can't get into the Mark/Paige pairing. She and Mark were waaaay out of sync in several sections. Paige actually looked better than Mark during most of the dance. She has obviously had loads of dance training (and I suspect cheerleading, based on that stunt at the end). Just not feeling them.

Ginger's scores perfectly illustrate this. There was absolutely no content in that dance- it was a simple, simple routine, that she still didn't nail. And she got almost the same scores as Nyle, who had a minor problem with being in sync with Peta, but had a very technically demanding dance.

I miss the early seasons, where the celebs did one of 2 dance styles each week. Everyone was on a more even playing field for scores.

finally watching DWTS live instead of DVR tonight. That said, I am going to refer back the last weeks to Ginger's husband. WHY is he allowed to be so up front, camera time....just in the way?!?!?!?!? He's annoying. Now , on to tonight...ALL the dances so far have been really, REALLY good, except Ginger's. No way should her score be the same as Jodi's...I stand corrected, Jodi did get a higher score by a point
