OMG!Cheryl got a HUGE rock of a diamond necklace for her birthday!
She definitely deserves it if she's been sexually harassed all these weeks.

I knew that Chad gave her a diamond ring after about 2 weeks into the show to show his appreciation to Cheryl for her diligence and hard work in working/training with him throughout the show. They had a huge story on TMZ. Chad was interviewed and he felt that was the proper gift to give her! Rumors started flying after that, that Chad and Cheryl were a couple ... ?

Yup, I agree with everything you have written.several weeks?[/I] Many of us noted how uncomfortable Cheryl was with Chad. If fact, their body language was anything but cuddly, which is usually the case when two people are hot & heavy. You can't keep them apart from each other. THAT shows in body language, too. People give off "tells." Cheryl was clearly UNcomfortable with Chad.
Once, Cheryl had some cone/fin thingie jutting out on one of her "girls" to keep Chad from dancing too close to her. Then two weeks ago, they even got a critique from the judges that they were dancing too far away from each other. it showed in her dancing how uncomfortable she's been with him.
It seems Cheryl's been keeping Chad away from her, while Chad just being a real player. I think he though he could get some action off the side from her. He even had his hand on her butt once. I think he's been trying to touch her and paw at her through the first several weeks of rehearsals. To me, when someone is employed on a job and they are being pawed at and moves constantly made on them, that's sexual harrassment.
When Chad wasn't pawing her, he was trying to buy her with gifts -- which as a pro ball player, he can well afford.
She never looked comfortable with him. All this hype about them being together is simply hype, to get their votes up. Chad knows how to play the public for publicity. That's what he is: a player all around!
DWTS is not stupid. If Chad has been pawing at and Cheryl all this time, they aren't going to let that out.
I think, only this past week Chad has realized he actually has a competitive chance and he wised up, or someone said something to him. For the first week Cheryl finally looks comfortable & relaxed again. She's her old self again. It shows in her dancing.
It keeps people talking about them. WE are talking about it. TMZ reported it. It's been on GMA and Entertainment Tonight & The Insider. Every time Cheryl shows one of the rocks, it gets publicity, and possibly votes.I agree, I'm in the camp of him making her extremely uncomfortable, but I don't understand why she keeps wearing this stuff.
Didn't they mention it in the rehearsal segment? Maybe it was mentioned on ET.

I don't see any difference, but I did notice she seems to proudly wear his gifts. I agree. If she does keep the jewelry, I bet she will sell it the first chance she gets. A dancer's career is very short. She's going to need that money later on. To me, that just makes her a high priced ho.
